Nice game thread.

Hopefully we continue our run, the Nationals seem to always have our number.

Very early in the season, but the Nats have only one win in their first seven games. Hopefully we can keep the momentum going and win our third series in a row.

Winning that Mets series was great. Sure, it's only April, but coming back and taking the last two after getting blown out in the home opener sends an early message to the league.

We must win this series no matter how much trouble the Nats have gave us during recent years. I'm not expecting us to sweep the series but we should win it.

If we don't win this series, the previous two would have been for nothing. These are three easy wins that we need to take advantage of.

Second that! As a matter of fact, if you guys don't sweep, the previous wins would mean nothing. The Nats are pretty much a AA team.

It still means we're better than the Mets, just the Mets are worse than we thought.

I hope Timmy comes out like he did during his first outing. Our bats alone should win this game for us!

 Wow...what a confidence booster a couple of close lucky wins can be. Just remember, this is a marathon and depth is the name of the game (don't believe me? Just look at your "Hampton out 6-9 Months" thread). I'll be sure to keep this quote and use it when the Squaws, er, Braves rack up the injuries and are 10 games out in August.

If Timmy pitches anything like he did against Philly, we will def. win. Our bats have to heat up sometime, and I think this is the perfect series. The Nats pitching staff is awful, and I hope we just light them up.

Better than Hampton. Hell, he'd probably outperform Redman right now.

How is not playing at all better than Hampton?

I'd call that a wash.

He probably would, and you should probably have a better record than us. But probably really doesn't mean ****, and you don't.
