Would be a great win and a test. Need to attack Poole when on offense.

Warriors have a terrible road record. I am almost convinced it is by design. Like they don't care to give that energy on the road. They know what it takes to win titles. They are great at home.

Lob City used to get shredded by GSW. But this current version of LAC can whoop their ass.

Calm In Chaos

Clipper's winning streak is inevitable. Now that they've won three in a row, they will never lose again. They could actually run a winning streak that lasts through the remainder of the regular season.

But that doesn't mean they're through with the teasing and trolling. They'll sometimes lose on purpose just to screw with the standings, the entertainment, and the sanctity of the league. Give a lesser opponent a win when Clippers should be taking competition seriously, not letting up against teams they have to beat like lottery teams. Play catch up and nab one of the top four seeds for home court advantage, for some road teams have their number and could steal Game 1 of a set to predict an automatic sweep and shocking upset.

But instead, they'd rather play possum. Why is this their plan?

Since Clippers are always the franchise that screws up for wanting to be loved, respected and worshiped like Lakers, they might as well use their character defect to their advantage. Certain losses may put them in the qualifier, but wins and losses in general shuffle by game, changing the match-ups. Clippers may desire a young team like Kings (who they helped brake a playoff drought thanks to their season series loss) over Nuggets, Mavs or personal nemesis Chris Paul, but it'll require the 7th or 8th to draw Sacramento for a shot at an upset. Warriors, Pelicans and Grizzlies may see themselves drawing opponents they either have a better chance at in defeating for Clippers, or being defeated to benefit Clippers. Meanwhile, Clippers walk into the playoffs with the perfect schematic that leads them straight into the Finals.

In other words, all Clippers have to do is show up. But that's been one of their problems: showing up. They think everything is handed to them on a silver platter. Opponents will forget how to play basketball, make careless mistakes, or experience a rift in their chemistry. Basketball is not about forfeiture, it's about commitment, determination and effort. They can't be lazy and pray for some divine intervention to appear and make inexplicable miracle plays for them like Angels In The Outfield. They gotta show their work and not be so half-ways about it.

They also gotta stay Good Samaritans too. They have a stain in their record with Morris's ejection versus Knicks before the All-Star Break, but the franchise has not faced a crisis like Grizzlies or Suns have this season. For the most part, they've been model citizens playing for the good of basketball. As long as that continues, they'll be fine. Even if Clippers go under .500 again.

In other words, no matter what league does, Clippers are entering the final leg of the season on a win-win.

Just win.

Or not. Might only be 6-0 but ugly start.

The crowd is louder for the Warriors of course.

as per usual, our shot quality vs GS makes me feel quite uncomfortable, despite what the score says.

I’m so glad PG and Westbrook are 2-8 while Leonard is 2-3.

That's why Ballmer is introducing The Wall at the new Intuit Dome. Clipper fans only. How he's going to enforce it I dunno, but Clipper season ticket holders are notorious for selling off their tickets at a premium to wealthy San Franciscans.

I don’t trust this team when Leonard is on the bench.

m-god looked pretty good out there in his limited minutes. active on D, easy cuts, attacking the rim.

meanwhile trash-god looking like his usual self with 0 points, 0/3 shooting 0 boards

someone wake me up when he does something useful. should be noted that stat-padding his plus minus is not what anyone would consider useful and obviously would not count.

Return to Los Angeles Clippers
