He also committed 5 fouls and 4 of them were really dumb offensive ones. We are getting the full Wood experience tonight

I take those fouls if he puts up almost 30 and 15!!!

Exactly, as I've said all year - still leaps and bounds above anyone else we have at the 4 and 5.

I was close with Wood prediction, still 28/13 and hard carry in the OT. Which means roughly 18 mins for him the next game.

Monster game from Bullock. But holy **** Spurs actually tried hard to lose just Mavs were almost better at that.

Thankfully we pulled this out. Good on Kidd for removing Maxi in overtime too. Guy was clearly beating himself up and was not in the right mindset. Wood was big as well so that certainly helped. Who woulda thought.

There have been a few early season Mavs fans that haven’t been in the threads for awhile. Might need to do a few wellness checks.

Your comparing a 12th man on the bench to a legit starting big...

What I'm comparing is this board likes bright new shiny objects. I can't stand Powell just like eveyone else, but Wood isn't the answer either. The whole frontcourt is flawed.

And yes Wood has been a starting big on losing teams. It doesn't matter what we think. There's 12 games left + playoffs maybe and after that Wood is likely gone

After this win, there's no doubt the sky is the limit and we are going to win the championship.

Mr B wrote:So I have a question about the pick the Mavs owe the Knicks. They owe a top 10 protected 1st. So what happens if the Mavs end up drafting in the top 10? How is the trade completed? Is it a changed to a 2nd round pick?

It’s top 10 protected this year, in 2024, and in 2025. If the Mavs are in the top 10 in 2025, then Knicks get the Mavs 2025 2nd round pick.

Wood been solid all year long... only person who limit his impact was kidd because he limited his minutes in favor of lesser players. I don't think he is the answer long term because we need rim protector with luka and kyrie out there but right now the only way we win is by outscoring the opponents.
