Those refs sucked. Hope their meals are not delicious for a few days.

Got to hand it to the Wolves though. They played tough, against a tough opponent.
Normally I would agree, but that was some bull. I rarely post these days, but the refs this game were the 3 worst worst i've seen in a long time
Post more often.

Even the often-homeristic BOS fans are giving Victory Cigars to the refs, over on their boards.
Nice to see them honor that.

Re: Wolves vs Celtics
Those trash referees should never be allowed to do another game. I've never seen so many blatantly missed out of bounds calls coupled with completely one sided foul calls. Just Garbage.
What is Gobert doing on the floor in the final 3 minutes when we are trying to come from behind?
We go on a run with Naz to get us back into the game and Gobert comes back in and offense turns to garbage.
Gobert misses a pair of FTs and gives up a wide open 3 to Horford on the next possession. We never recovered.
Spent the first 6 minutes of the 3rd quarter ignoring ANT and trying to feed Gobert and Boston goes up 14 points.
We have 4 good defenders now with COnley/ANT/McD/Slo-mo I question if we even need Gobert on the floor against teams without a post threat with D-Lo gone.

Last game, you asked someone if we watch different games. I think we do.
Gobert missed the free throws with 6:19 left, but made both free throws with 1:09 remaining, after drawing a foul from Tatum. Did you not watch them, or just forget to mention them?
With 46 seconds and the score 101-99, he challenged Tatum’s three pointer, and still got back to grab a critical rebound. Ant missed a three that would have put us ahead. But you saw it that we “never recovered” from Gobert at the 6 minute mark?
1:09 Jayson Tatum shooting foul 101 97
1:09 Rudy Gobert makes free throw 1 of 2 101 98
1:09 Rudy Gobert makes free throw 2 of 2 101 99
46.0 Jayson Tatum misses 24-foot step back jumpshot 101 99
43.0 Rudy Gobert defensive rebound 101 99
32.0 Anthony Edwards misses 26-foot step back jumpshot 101 99
31.1 Jayson Tatum defensive rebound 101 99
10.0 Marcus Smart misses 24-foot three point jumper 101 99
7.0 Grant Williams offensive rebound 101 99
2.0 Grant Williams vs. Rudy Gobert (Jayson Tatum gains possession) 101 99
Those are the things that actually happened. I think you are only watching the game through an Anti-Gobert lens, not seeing both the good and bad. At a minimum, you’re only posting about the bad, and blaming him for everything, every game.

Ant needs some real composure to end the season, 2 more techs and he is automatically suspended.

On that last jump ball, the ref didn't even toss it between the two players. He just tossed it in front of Grant Williams. Gobert didn't even have a chance to make a play on it, since it was at least a foot behind him.

Right! And shouldn’t a jump ball be high enough that players have to jump?

I am generally in the trenches telling Minnesota fans that they are sniveling over nothing with referees, but I have to be honest… that was an absolute abomination.
No nice way to put it, Minnesota got hosed.

Can we talk about the team's free throw shooting? Specifically Ant ?

It's been really bad this past month. It's been exactly one month since the team shot above 75% from the line and they have several games below 70%. Ant has been poor this month too, around 67%. Gobert is historically not a good FT shooter but he at least needs to be above 60%. Everyone else needs to be a lot better.

Sounds like the spread was Celtics -4.5 and Conley's last jumper messed it up...

I think you misunderstood and haven't read through some of my earlier posts. I was actually in agreement with you for the most part and was simply providing details I read to support your claim.

Got it, seemed as if you thought I was upset about losing a bet.
Yeah, i'm inclined to agree - game was either being bet on by the refs or the league wanted Celtics to win and us to lose.

That sequence led to a potential 2 point deficit turning into a 7 point deficit we never recovered from, and he started 1/5 from the line.
Gobert's presence cripples Ant's ability to get to the rim and thus our crunch time offense.
Although it is on Ant to take better shots, its also on the coach to get him better shots but you cannot reliably space the floor in the present game with a guy who can't even shoot an 8 footer.
If you want to cherry pick the 26 seconds of the last 6 minutes Gobert was an actual positive that is your prerogative.
Why is a small ball 5 grabbing that offensive rebound at 7 seconds and then winning a jump ball over someone 7'2?
As a fan I can't ignore the pretty obvious offensive dysfunction when Gobert is on the floor compared to pretty average backups like Naz and Luka Garza.
The guy is the highest paid, highest profile veteran we have and he deserves this level of scrutiny.

Shame on you for saying I’m cherry-picking - what hypocrisy! You posted to complain about Gobert missing two free throws, six minutes before the game ended, and don’t mention the two he made in crunch time? You say the game was lost on those errors six minutes in, when we literally had a chance to win the game if Ant’s three pointer goes in?
You want to dislike Gobert’s overall play, that’s fine. We all have opinions, and yours are often some of my favorites. But when it comes to Gobert, you can’t even try to prevent an unbiased, honest, recitiation of the facts.
Compare the actual game log to your post. THAT is cherry picking.
