Favorite stat of the night: 7 TOs for the whole team
Key moment of the night: MMSr ejected in the 1st half. This allowed EJ to start in the 2nd half, and boy did that pay off.

I started feeling better about the game after Steph was unconscious during the 3rd yet we were still up 8. Obviously he could still be a factor in the 4th but no way he could keep up the same heat for another quarter.

Only if Morris can get ejected every game.

That says a lot about this year’s Warriors and their road woes. They needed a 50-points from Curry and still came up short. Klay was basically non-existent and Jordan Poole is not effective at all as a 6th man. I think he will demand a trade in the offseason.

fun game to watch

defensive rotations looked really solid for most possessions. this was something distinctly missing during the losing streak because, well, the team had no idea what it was doing. could be even better if morris was phased out for covington.

rebounding looked great. mann was crashing the boards, westbrook was obviously the igniter of all of that though, grabbing quite a few timely rebounds. zubac showed us why he's a legit core piece of this team. this could be a winning blueprint if morris was phased out for covington.

shot distribution was great. paul george took a couple bad ones but not so bad you wanted to throw a table. westbrook shouldn't be taking 3's, at all. lue saying he was gonna let him do what he wants out there was a mistake so we just have to hope it doesn't bite us. but note how the guys you really want taking shots got more shots. you want zubac to get fed some. kawhi and pg need the most. gordon was key out there. forget if it was the 2nd or 3rd quarter but the team started eviscerating the warriors on cuts/drives to the rim because you had actual, mobile guys who do actual, good things on offense. that can be solidified by getting morris out of the lineup.

somewhere out there, morris plus minus lovers like ty lue are in shambles. but the team got the win so i'll take that trade any day.

Our defensive rotations are definitely getting better and the team is starting to look like that- a team.

GSW has of course been poor on the road but Steph was unconscious for much of the light, literally unguardable when I see the highlights from the game. But we still pulled it out, because we were the better team.

I don't think he can since he just signed a fat extension. However the Core 3 might get him traded since he seems to annoy them at times (draymonds punch, Steph's mouthpiece ejection).

Great game tonight, Russ adjusted well after last game against them and was huge on the rebounds.

btw, you aren't supposed to take a 50 piece from curry and live to tell the tale. i'd also note that the refs gifted the warriors a free shot at a comeback with that offensive foul on gordon, but the team held steady, secured the rebound and pushed on. that would have been the end of the game right there for us not all that long ago.

the team looks quite a bit better. obviously has a ton to do with morris being ejected, because to me there is no shot this team wins the game with morris in there. no shot.

also no shot he's not back in the starting lineup next game, so let's keep our expectations in check, guys.

the one he canned over paul george who even got there early and is like 10 feet taller than him, i was like oh god no it's not even a question, it's good

he was really sick tonight. but the team actually did team things. even morris contributed by seeing his way out the door!

Really good win tonight. Hell of a team effort here from everyone top to bottom. In years past we would've wilted under that Curry onslaught but this team kept fighting and didn't let up. That was a beautiful sight to behold man. Morris needs to be suspended so we can get this type performance every night

Climbing to 5th, 4 out of third with a pair still left against Memphis, need this run to continue. I'd rather be 6th over 4th/5th tbh, delay Denver, but let's go.

That losing streak stings even more now.

Our depth paid big dividend tonight. Game ball goes to EJ for his performance in the 3rd. Can you imaging what the score would be after the 3rd, if we had MMSr starting in the 2nd half?

My maths was wrong, 5 out with this little time left is pretty improbable.

Morris getting ejected was great for this team.

I am starting to think Gordon is a better fit than Powell. Gordon plays better defense and better spot up shooter. Powell just gives us too many guys. The shorter rotations are better for this team now that Kawhi/George playing more minutes. People are finding our roles and not closing with Russell has been great. Hes closing with Gordon/Mann which is great

I would usually get an immediate headline on Youtbe by ESPN’s channel after a Clipper loss, led by the opponent’s best performer. Predictably, even in a win, it’s the Clippers’ opponent that are the highlight of the night. All about Curry’s 50 points.

Does ESPN hate us or something?

Would love to finish out the season strong and sneak into that 4th seed, after everything we've been through. Need this sort of intensity every game, even early in the weekend against lottery teams. Hope the players still remember that previous loss against the Magic, because I sure do.

Still trying to get used to so many extra days of rest, but I'm sure the players and staff aren't complaining.

Not to keep banging that Mook drum, but you do have to wonder about the final outcome had he not been ejected. Still need to find some room in the rotation for Norm once he returns. His defense is suspect, but that scoring can be invaluable whenever Kawhi or PG are sitting. Gordon, on the other hand, seems to be doing just fine when sharing the floor with both of them.

Can't complain about Russ whenever he brings that sort of energy. Him and Mann both playing hard was a very nice sight.

Zu has quietly been getting really good again. Plumlee might not look like an All Star out there, but just having a capable backup has been huge. More rest for Zu, less wonky small ball that messes with the flow.

Overall, it's just been nice being able to watch this team again without always expecting the absolute worst (at least not more than usual). We'll probably drop a couple more games we shouldn't, but just don't do it twice in a row.
