Nets just signed one of the best rebounders in NBA history

Post#1 » by cam24thomas » Thu Mar 16, 2023 5:34 pm

Moses Brown averaged 4.1 rebounds per game in 8.5 minutes per game with the Clippers this season.
Sounds like the next Dennis Rodman, or a 7foo2 version.
Or a high-scoring version of Dennis Rodman, because he also averaged 4.6 points in those 8.5 minutes!
And has a career average of 5.3 rebounds in 12.6 minutes (126 games).
And the only time he played big minutes (21.4 minutes per game for OKC) he averaged 1.1 blocks!

Speaking of rebounding. Is this guy your rebound after Simmons?

Don't do this. We've watched so many fan bases get excited about this scrub (sorry to him, not his fault).

I'm not sure, Cam Thomas was, but he's in Vaughn's dog house.
Vaughn is ruining everything for me, and probably won't play Moses either

Lakers should’ve signed him but Jeanie needs a new Versace bag.

I remember when we signed him. Some thought he's the 2nd coming of Wilt, good times. That's what starting Powell for 6 years does to a fanbase.

Its always interesting to me when guys who were such coveted amateur prospects turn into nobodies before they can even reach the age 24. I dont know whats off; the evaluators or the situations the prospects got themselves in (whether that be team construction in college, coaching, whatever). This league will chew you up and spit you out with the quickness

The Lakers probably should’ve signed him. They desperately need just someone big to put their arms up on defense. Gabriel isn’t cutting it at center.

Well his stats indicate he's great at basketball, so must be a personality problem that makes people cut him.
Vaughn's a big mouth so hard to imagine it working out.

The dude does not contribute to winning at all. He's a complete liability on the floor. Every minute on the floor is a minute too long.

Moses shot .635 field goals for the Clippers, but .458 free-throws and 2.1 attempts per game.
Ben Simmons was criticized for .439 ft but didn't actually hurt his team because only averaged 1.4 attempts per game.
