Not sure what that means but it's Christmas so everything is joy loool.

Kenny Anderson, and the late Drazen Petrovic.

Merry Christmas 2, you, the GOAT and the board
Meaning... you listed a bunch of HOFers and all-stars, then you listed Mario ellie, who was basically just a solid role player on a good team.

But... you point remains. Jordan's Era was loaded.

And you left off Fat Lever. I saw an interview once where MJ said the 2 toughest defenders he faced were Joe dumars and.....FAT LEVER!!!

Lamar made a vid where Fat had a monster triple double vs MJ... 31, 16, 12 and 6 steals.

That's what I thought... I am not the brightest bulb in the cereal box with the hammer out. If my brain was a draft pick it would be a summer leaguer that got no run hahaha

Jordan will probably STAY the G.O.A.T. forever due to many factors.

1. For actually being the best ever
2. For titles won
3. For his BRAND
4. For the way he captured the moment, whether his SPECTACULAR SHOT, his DUNK FROM THE FOUL LINE, HIS DOUBLE NICKEL RETURN, HIS MOVIE, APPAREL, AURA, SHOT OVER ELO, SHOT OVER RUSSELL, BACK TO BACK DUNK WINS, etc..

It's a lot to be better than him on the court ALONE. But you have to have many other factors going for you. And you have to STAY HEALTHY which is hard to do. Plus Jordan always has that I LEFT TO PLAY BASEBALL IN THE PRIME OF MY LIFE thing in his or Jordan supporters bags they can use if someone does tie him in some sort of way..

Too bad Monk didn't have this video on-hand as evidence to defend himself when he got popped for the nose candy.

Happy Birthday Mike!

Michael just turned 60. Because I have known about him since I was a kid growing up in Chapel Hill (he even came to our Elementary School once) for so long it felt like he was actually older then that. Hopefully he decides to build a real winner here before it is too late for him to enjoy. On a very positive note, he just gave Make - A - Wish 10 MILLION dollars for his Birthday. Pretty cool and maybe shows he is going to be less tight with the moola now.

The dumbest thing people use when they try to compare MJ to Bron for goat argument is # of allstars they played with.

Of course, LeBron has played with more all-stars, he has changed teams and teammates far more frequently than Jordan who played nearly his entire career with one of the most underrated players ever in Pippen.

Considering how checked out MJ has been with regards to the team I guess the writing was on the wall.

That said if new ownership moves the team I won't follow the NBA anymore.

Same, but I seriously doubt the NBA allows it again

While I will miss having the GOAT as owner, if he wasn't going to put in resources, this is something that was needed. Anyone have info on these potential buyers?

Did a quick google of Plotkin and Schnall.

Plotkin makes me super nervous.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-05-18/gabe-plotkin-s-melvin-capital-to-wind-down-funds-after-losses

Can't find much about Schnall. He isn't worth much though.

Neither are billionaires as far as I can tell. Plotkin is around 500m and Schnall is less. So hopefully they have a wealthier owner (Tepper, step up?) to assist them or I'm not sure if this is an upgrade or not.

Yeah I doubt these two can buy the team based on their net worth

MJ should just sell to the highest bidder

MJ is going to keep a minority stake.

What does "co-governors" mean?

If MJ stays on as a minority owner, does this more or less mean Plotkin/Schnall own the team but MJ is still having a lot of influence on how its run?

The team is locked in Charlotte for the next couple decades.
