I will say that if this rumor is true we need to get ahold of Ja Morant and have him take Wiggs to Shotgun Willie's.

Doesn't seem like it to me either. It would seem like playing and hitting the road and strip clubs would be the best medicine for something like that.

Even Paul pierce is retweeting that rumor. BTW, I'm calling bs on that rumor.

Is this why rumors were swirling we were going after Anunoby at the deadline? I feel like this is additional reason to get that deal done.

The story I believe is that Wiggins hired a Chechen death squad to hunt down people spreading Junk about him on the internet.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

If that's the real story, why would that keep him out of basketball?

Is he going to quit playing because he's heartbroken?

Yea that’s why it was a dumb rumor. He would probably want to be around his teammates if that happened.

Is there a possibility that Wiggins doesn't want to come back to Warriors because somebody of the team did something bad to him and they don't want to say it?
For example like what Green did to Poole or something else

I don't think so if that were the case there would have been discipline within the team. That's not even part of the speculation.

My concern is it's regarding the health of one of his kids.

And he wants to spend as much time with them that he can.

Pure speculation on my behalf, but yeah, would be hard to care much about bouncing a ball with something like that unfolding.

Hence the team indicating he's dealing with something way bigger than basketball, and to take all the time he needs.

Pray I'm wrong

I also think that, this is the most likely scenario. If this is the case, he probably will not be coming back this season.

If he's not back by the time the team returns from this road trip I'm guessing it's over for him.

Less than 10 games left in the season.

He's not coming back this season.

Even if he does, he's unlikely to be in good form unless people think he can get in shape and regain his playing form in the playoffs.

Warriors have had late season injuries before. KD missed most of the end of the regular season and returned for playoffs and last season, Curry started the playoffs off the bench because he'd been out.

But in those cases, they'd been doing basketball activities for a couple of weeks, in addition to rehabbing their injuries. Like shooting and various drills and regaining their fitness.

April 9th in the end of the regular season. So 18 days left in the regular season. If players are going to resume basketball activities even if they don't play any remaining regular season games, he has to be doing them now.

Just read that Zion may start doing basketball activities real soon but he may still miss the rest of the regular season.

That's where I'm at too, not even expecting him back in the regular season at all and probably not in the playoffs. As crazy and scary as it sounds, the whole season might be riding on Jonathan Kuminga playing a lot of minutes and rapidly developing going into the playoffs (assuming they even make it). Because their chances without Wiggins, even if GP2 makes it back, are long. Kuminga is really the only guy who might be able to backfill what Wiggins brings (sorry, Lambchop), and he's been playing well lately, but it's a lot to ask given his current state of development. Dubs would really miss the rebounding that Wiggins found in the playoffs last year.
