I know we joke about him because of the big contract but I legit like the guy. Comes in, plays a few mins, puts a quick 6-12p on the board in most games and sits on the bench again like he never existed.

This would have been another loss with Luka. I keep getting proven right. Kyrie is the MVP of this team since the trade. Without him the Mavs wouldnt even be in the play in.

I find it such a lethally dumb idea to have him inbound. Imo Luka should do the inbounding once he's back. The classic play of getting the ball back to the inbounder is pretty much impossible if we have Pinson as part of this.

It took Kidd over 60 games to finally figure out that big lineups work better than his usual midget rotations. But hey, at least he got there.

And what a win lol... Lakers were still up by 4 points 8 seconds to go, then a guy from Würzburg scores 6 straight points Lakers getting PTSD flashbacks.

Fantastic win and this team is completely different if at least one of the stars play.

Mavs barely escaped another catastrophic in-bound sequence, but it was all worth it.

Maxi of all people --- slow release and has looked a shell of his former self coming back from injury --- has the instinct to shoot right away and it's so pure. That was after hitting 3 straight free throws.

It was about time that a late game shot went in for Dallas.

After all the semi bizarre post game quotes, it was good to see Kidd show emotion...

Holy $h!+, man! I couldn’t stay awake for the last 2.5 mins! Fell asleep with Maxi going to the line down 5.

I envisioned refreshing the ESPN box score in the morning and seeing the Mavs with the W off a Kyrie buzzer beater. Instead it’s Maxi!! Even better!

Bertans plays serve minutes for us and was 2/2 from three.

The negative is that he had two personal fouls and a turnover.

With the exception of the game against Memphis 0/5) he has been making his three point attempts.
