No

Jalen Brunson is just that good he's able to overcome Thibs.

Nikola Topic/Kasparas Jakucionis
VJ Edgecombe/Jrue Holiday
Shaedon Sharpe/Cedric Coward
Kyle Filipowski/Collin Murray-Boyles
Alex Sarr/Clint Capela

Please select option 3 on the poll

We have a winning record in 11 games without Brunson

4 seed with Elfrid Payton as PG.

I would rather go with Fizdale as my head coach, Mike D'antoni as my defensive coach and Mark Jackson as my offensive coach.

I'm gona try and find my quote the other day about Thibs. Gimme a sec

I'm not saying Thibs doesn't know how to win. I'm saying he's a heavily flawed stubborn coach set in his ways and if he adjusted he could be a lot better and overcome the same hurdles that have stopped him from becoming a great coach when it really matters.

Tell me I'm wrong? U can't point to obvious things like benching an injury riddled Rose on his last legs, or Fournier who is a seive on defense. Those are obvious necessary adjustments that would of gotten him fired had he stayed with his old ways.

Hire an offensive assistant so we can actually see this group run a damn NBA offense. Where's the pick n roll? Pick n pop? Everything is ISO especially at the ends of games like we saw in Boston, Miami. That won't fly in the playoffs and you'll see

Many of his detractors thought we would be one of the worst teams in the nba and wanted to tank a few months ago. Now 42-30 isn’t good enough and we should have won more?

This team has blown away the wildest expectations anybody could have had for it. We are even beating quality teams.

Worst poll options I've ever seen.

Looks like a North Korea poll for Kim Jong Un.

"Does Kim Jong Un deserve our unconditional, worshipful adoration?"

A) Yes, I love supreme deity Kim Jong Un

B) No, because he deserves much more than just adoration..he deserves our souls

C) No, because I'm an uneducated, crackhead, douchebag who moonlights as a pedophile that punches puppies in the face

We're not winning as much as we are if Thibs completely sucks. Like all coaches, he has his faults. Fish, Horny, Fiz, they were all bad coaches. Now the team seems to love this guy -- kill him, and you may destroy the team.

Yes we prolly could of won more, or easier if he's not so stubborn and actually learned how to adapt in this league. You're nothing if you're not willing to look at yourself in the mirror critique yourself and make changes.

The day you're too old to learn something new / adapt is the day you die.

And for what it's worth I voted 2.

He is a good coach but not a great coach. At times a terrible absolute brain dead coach. That comes from his stubborn nature

He's an above average coach, I'll apologize when he can take this team past the first round.

No. This is Leon Rose building a sleeper team!! You keep seeing the good games and great wins but, no one can believe it. Just sneaking into the 5 seed.

Fun times. Thibs is cool. I'll let him live for now.

i think he gets teams to fight harder for him than most coaches are able to in the regular season. but in the playoffs every team plays hard. so people say he can't win in the playoffs but that's because he's being judged against his own regular season records where he has teams overachieving. he's not a brilliant x & o's guy but most coaches aren't.

He deserves an apology because he started coaching better? No. If you are bad at your job and then over time become better you don’t get an apology for being bad earlier.

If anything he deserves recognition for coaching better, and not leaning on his worst instincts too heavily as we make a push to the playoffs (vets over youth, short rotation, heavy minutes every game for Randle with Obi on the bench).

The common critique of Thibs was all earned through a repetition of his mistakes. Even he thought he was about to fired at one point.
