Horrible win for the tank.

I had a laugh at Cliff playing the starters (except Nick of course) almost 36 minutes each and DSJ about 26 minutes when we are already eliminated from playoff contention.

There's just nothing to play for...and Cliff is inexplicably still grinding the veterans waaaaaay too many minutes. I mean having Svi over McGowens in the rotation at this point just makes zero sense man. We had an outside shot of catching the Spurs too but the win last night didn't help that obviously.

The win doesn't bother me, I think catching SA is a pipe dream, Pop will just make The Coyote his starting PG if necessary, and we're not capable of putting together an extended winning streak to jump Orlando.

I still watch the games but it's hard to muster many comments for a GT that aren't just beating a dead horse or being negative. "Terry/Oubre are just out there chucking", "Cliff is a moron, why are we still playing vets 35+ minutes", etc. I do like seeing Thor, Kai and McGowens out there for whatever minutes they get. Not that they're setting the world on fire, but I'm interested to see if we get signs of life from them before the summer.

Even without Wemby I think we can make a huge leap up the standings if Melo and Mark come back and give us 70+ games apiece. That's even more true if Miles returns and plays at roughly the same level as last year. This season is just circling the drain though, aside from seeing the young guys get real minutes it's all pretty blah.

Go look at the starters +/- vs the bench +/- last night.
