Pretty happy with this one. Ended up having Levis fall to 13 so got a good haul from Tampa.

JSN in the slot with Doubs and Watson on the outside seems like a good start for Love.

Three tight ends probably does not happen, but still would be pretty happy with one of Musgrave/LaPorta and then Kuntz. Just missed Washington who is probably a better fit overall for what we've seen of the Packers scheme.

Don't know a ton about these guys as we get farther down, but PFF seems to like most of them (Ojomo had a 90 grade from PFF).

Doug Farrar had a three round mock today that I wouldn't hate at all.

– The Packers traded Aaron Rodgers to the Jets and then took Ohio State wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba at No. 13 overall.
– The Packers traded down from No. 15 overall with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who moved up to get Kentucky quarterback Will Levis. The deal: No. 15 for No. 19, No. 50 and No. 82.
– The Packers took Oklahoma offensive tackle Anton Harrison at No. 19.
– The Packers took Georgia edge rusher Nolan Smith at No. 45.
– The Packers took Boise State safety JL Skinner at No. 50
– The Packers took Wake Forest receiver A.T. Perry at No. 78.
– The Packers took Notre Dame interior offensive lineman Jarrett Patterson at No. 82.

How funny would it be to trade Rodgers for a first and use that first to take a WR? I like Harrison and Smith as prospects.

Did a mock draft today where I traded Rodgers for picks and kept trading down picking up firsts.

We did not have a pick until the 4th round and we traded away our 3rd and 4th next year but ended up with:
Jets 2024 first
Texans 2024 first
Falcons 2024 first
Commanders 2024 first

Would be hilarious!

Even more funny when they use Mason Crosby as a DE because they have no one else

Lowry and Reed combined for 1,100 snaps. I'm no expert, but the Packers will probably need to find some guys to replace them. And since there is no money, the draft is where it has to happen

Packers starting their top 30 visits. Darnell Washington will be the first to visit GB.

I'd be very excited to get him so long as the Packers add another move TE. Kincaid would be awesome, but part of me is really into the idea of pairing Mayer and Washington and bludgeoning teams on the ground next season.

Maybe in an ideal world you get your OT at #13, Washington at #15, and Musgrave in the 2nd.

From what I have watched/Read .. no way Nolan Smith drops to 45. Would be sweet if he did.

Did my first mock draft today. 5 rounds, traded Rodgers for 43, next year's 2nd, & Corey Davis

15. Edge Lukas Van Ness
43. TE Luke Musgrave
45. S Jordan Battle
78. QB Hendon Hooker
116. WR Bryce Ford-Wheaton
149. WR Jonathan Mingo
170. TE Luke Schoonmaker

I think Van Ness is gonna be an absolute monster. Would have no issue taking him at #15, then trading up to grab either Washington, Mayer, or Kincaid in the back half of the 1st round using some of the draft capital we'll inevitably get in the Rodgers deal.

Love me some mocks. I did one as well. Didnt get Hooker like you did, but I think he's solid pick where you had him going.

15. Lukas Van Ness, EDGE Iowa
43. Darnell Washington, TE Georgia
45. Mazi Smith, DL Michigan
78. Jammie Robinson, S Florida State
116. Tre'Vius Hodges-Tomlinson, CB TCU
149. Bryce Ford-Wheaton, WR West Virginia
170. Davis Allen, TE Clemson

Yea I doubt Hooker lasts to round 3 but if he does I'd be all over him. Van Ness is quickly becoming my guy in R1 and I'm really like Mingo on day 2 or early day 3 for WRs(honestly I'd have taken him sooner except I didn't even notice he was still on the board)

Isn't Hooker 25 already AND coming off ACL injury? I think I'd rather sign a vet than use a top 100 pick on a QB that is older than our new starting QB.

I just don't see we drafting a OT this high, we simply don't draft this way. At max I can see us spending a 2nd on a OT, and to be fair, I don't even know if this is the right timing since we have Nijman, Jenkins, Tom, Bakh and perhaps even Sean Rhyan...

The age and injury are why he's going to last until day 2. If he was 2 years younger he'd be a surefire 1st round guy

Athletic mock was Van Ness at 13 and Kincaid at 15. That’s probably close to my ideal realistic mock.

I'm not really into an edge at #13 or #15, just because the position is so deep. I think there's going to be good ones available in the 2nd.

Return to Green Bay Packers
