GSW: 37-36, 8-29 on the road.
DAL: 36-36

Winner has the tiebreaker. Another missed game for Luka?

They are 5-10 this season without him. Also, after the MEM game, they now have a negative record when Kyrie plays aswell.

But at least they play faster and defend better, right? :dontknow:

I prefer the play in than another Luka injury for speeding up his come back...

Make or break game, Mavs can forget about 6th seed if they lose here.

I'd rather play the Kings or Grizzlies than the Clippers again. That's of course assuming the Mavs make the playoffs. It's still a question mark. The way things are going, everything is possible.

Kings combine 2 of the Mavs biggest problems, elite quick dribble penetration guard and a bruising big who is a good rebounder, coming with momentum.
Clippers are the Clippers, Mavs didn't have an answer Kawhi in 21, and they have less answers now.
Grizz are my preference, but make no mistake, Mavs will be underdogs with healthy margins, they can't defend, rebound or execute late in games, nothing about this team gives confidence.

The Kings lost once and nearly lost a second time against the Mavs.

The Grizzlies didn't look great against the Mavs either (although they were also missing players).

But yeah, it's more about seeing new faces. Would be really annoying to again face the Clips again. So if I could pick: I'd prefer play in and then face Kings/Grizzlies, than say make the playoffs directly and play Clips.

Luka missed games at the start of playoffs last year and this year it's at the end of the season and the time is ticking on building some chemistry and cohesion as a team.

Fox is a big problem for the Mavs but Sabonis i don't think so.

Luka alone destroyed him and Val in the NT qualifiers.

Anyway Sacto is a very good squad and they play well.

I think you mean Olympic quaifications, Sabonis isn't good in NT, no idea why, maybe the lack of PG.

I don't know which option has better odds at this point: Warriors recent terrible road record v.s Mavs equally terrible record without Kyrie and Luka

This is like the game of the year, and having a DNP game really proves one of the following:

1) They are REALLY hurt and therefore cannot play
2) They are SOFT and have NO Heart
3) A mix of both above

It's funny seeing you guys pick potential playoffs opponent while it's safe to say EVERYONE in the West is not scared of the Mavs and WANT us as their opponent.

Not much else to discuss, since the two best players are either out or questionable recently.

A healthy playoff Doncic is a different player than regular season Doncic. Hence why also any analyst will say that no team would want to face Mavs because they could surprise anyone. On top of that, this team can go super hot from 3 for few games, which would mean that they can literally outshoot any opponent.

But health has been a HUGE issue for past few weeks and it doesn't help that the two main guys are the center of this problem. If they can't get healthy then it's going to be an uphill struggle.

My biggest concern is Luka's confidence level. Clearly Luka has NOT figured out the current roster. I honestly don't think he is deeply injured at the moment, I think he is taking his time to learn how to play without the ball and how to co-exist with another star in crunch moment.

Regarding our coach Kidd, I don't think he is THAT TERRIBLE as some of the posters here make it ought to be. But Kidd is not good at figuring out things fast, meaning he doesn't adapt changes well.

This post was sarcasm, right?

Agreed, he is not that terrible, he's even worse than terrible.
