Paul George + Robert Williams+ the Bucks 2023 1st round pick for Jaylen Brown.
The Clippers get a young all star in exchange for Paul George who's good enough to the point where the Clippers can still be a playoff team post Kawhi Leonard. They would also get Robert Williams for salary Matching purposes.
The Celtics get a all star caliber who's going to be under contract for a longer period of time, who would be a great 2nd option next to Jayson Tatum. They Also get a late 1st round pick as a sweetener.

The OP doesn't like JB at all and I don't think a single day has passed without him saying so.
Which is fine, but I'm saying this just because I don't want to hear about how "Celtics fans" hate Jaylen Brown and want to trade him. It's not the case for most of us.

Boston gets: Damian Lillard and two first-round picks (the New York Knicks' 2023 pick and Portland's first pick that doesn't convey to Chicago). Per the Lauri Markkanen deal, Chicago gets a future first-round, top 14 protected pick from 2022 to 2028.
Note: Lillard will be trade eligible on July 9, The deal is contingent on Brown agreeing to signing a long-term deal with Portland.

Not convinced Portland would trade two firsts with Dame for Brown… but irregardless, I do think Brown for Dame is a legitimate possibility if Brown signs a long term deal in the trade.

Top 40 player though![]()

Putting him top 25 doesn't bother me, but there are guys that are above him on that list that are too high.
Top 20-25 is accurate for him. Putting him at 35-40 is an insult.
I would be interested in seeing what a team like Minnesota would offer for Jaylen though.

according to one raptors fan in the overpaid players thread.. siakam is way better than brown. so this would be a bad trade

I would tend to agree, but Damian Lillard also has a contract that pays him another $218 million over four years that expires when he is almost 37. I don't believe Boston is willing to take on that sizable contract when Lillard clearly will be out of his prime unless Portland throws in at least one first-rounder. Also, one of those first-round picks comes from the Knicks this year, which currently is trending to be the No. 23 pick.
In any event, the deal allows Boston to continue to be a title contender by pairing Lillard and Jayson Tatum while allowing Brown to be the focal point of a rebuild without giving up Anfernee Simons and Shaedon Sharpe.

Jaylen Brown gets to have his OWN team as a leader, he will have a fresh start to show what he can do and how he can lead a team.
