Probably no Celtics or Wolves fan would like that.
However, ANT/Brown/McDaniels/Anderson/Gobert seems to me a great starting 5.
And for Celtics, they need a center who can shoot, because Horford is getting old. KAT is elite shooter at 5. Creates spacing for Tatum. Yes, he is a weak defender but Celtics have great defenders (White/Smart/Tatum/Grant etc). Timelord is a good player but he is probably injury prone. Celtics definitely need a big who can space the floor as Horford does all these years. There are some concerns about KAT mentality, but he is still a smart dude. I think he can adjust there.

Skill wise this makes too much sense to not happen

I’ll take a shot for the Magic:

WCjr, Gary Harris, 2023 magic 1st, 2023 bulls 1st (1-4p) and 2025 Magic unprotected 1st for Jaylen Brown.

So that’s 2 starters and 3 1st round picks.

I doubt we would ever do picks + an above average center. I think we're looking to compete even if we trade Brown.
Good assessment:

Jalen Brown for Kyrie Irving and Theo Pinson

Why for Dallas : they improve their defense with JB

Why for Boston : they got their old girlfriend signed up for 4 years supermax plus nice addition to their cheerleading team , and for lols in general

A healthy Middleton will be deadly in Celtics uniform. As a Bucks fan, the only reason i would consider this trade is because i am not sure that Khris will be fully healthy again. Jaylen Brown is top 25 player, a Jrue/JB/Giannis big three seems unstoppable. However, Khris is a better fit with Giannis. I don't know then. There is a strong possibility that Giannis and Brown don't like each other much, so i rescind this offer :)

cmon man. Nobody is trading anything of value for Middleton. Guys coming off injuries and playing their worst ball in their 30's on big contracts hold no value. See Klay Thompson who is 2 years post injury and a borderline negative player and certainly a negative contract.

I see your point, that's why i wrote that "i am not sure that Khris will be fully healthy again". Khris is a shooter and shooter's game ages well but definitely he doesn't seem like a max contract player nowadays. Still, he is getting better game by game and he could probably help us getting the 'ship this year. In any case, this is not a good trade for Bucks or Celtics, both of them have much to lose, depending if he stays healty or not.

Yeah I appreciate your perspective as a Bucks fan but I just don’t see these two teams trading with each other being the rivals that they are in the present day.

thats an awful trade for the Celtics. Giannis and Brown would run the East for years to come.

God damn I’m not even a Celtics fan and most of these trades are horrible. If I’m the Celtics I want to make sure I remain a contender. Not trading Brown for picks and some youngins who may or may not be as good as him. Two trades I can see happening are Siakim for Brown and sending Brown home along with Derrick White to Atlanta for John Collins and Dejounte Murray. The Atlanta move is intriguing because it gets the Celtics another ball handler and defender on the back court and gets them another front court player. I Atlanta needs to surround Trae with above average defenders length so teams can’t hunt him. Brown addresses that without losing a ton of offence.

Boston doesn't need first round picks or young players, so those teams full of those should find third wheel. Portland might be good third team, if we presume they will finally break the team and start rebuild.

So trade like:
To Boston: Lillard

To Utah: J.Brown

To Portland: Gallinari (BOS), Clarkson/Sexton (Utah , S&T with Clarkson), R.Gay (Utah), some other salary fillers (Jones and Azubuike) from Utah + 2 first round picks from Utah and 1 from Boston.

I do think similar solution would work with Knicks. Without third team don't really think Knicks have anything Boston wants.

The new CBA, which may or may not have new extension rules, is going to influence both whether the Celtics can try to keep him and whether another team would pay more than a rental fee for him.

If he would be extendable at a max, for instance, Cleveland might consider a deal centered around Mitchell for Brown+. But in no world would they consider that for a one year rental.

Could be talked into adding anywhere from 1-2 more firsts depending on Cade's status. If Cade is good to go, I could part with 1 more pick. I'm not sure which we can trade, would have to look up what we have and what protections could prevent trading.

In total [if our lotto luck sucks and it drops to 4] and Cade is healthy and presumed ready for camp:

2023 #4 pick
2024 Swap
2025 Top-5 protected
Jaden Ivey
Bojan Bojanavic

Someting along those lines. Tho I'd rather we just hold onto a top 3 pick and draft Brandon Miller worst case. I'm already talking myself out of including Ivey. It really just depends on what happens with our pick this year. If we get Scoot or Wemby, I'd be happy to trade Ivey as he's gonna lose touches and value really quick.

[This assumes he wants to be here and will sign an extension or whatever he's eligible for.]

That's a horrible trade for Detroit... not because Brown isn't a great player, but because Brown is a FA a year later and there are no guarantees he will resign.

That said, Detroit can't trade future picks they still owe one from the Bey trade with Houston.

It's not horrible if he stays. Maybe you missed the last part of my post?

You're right that it doesn't matter much. That 1st round pick looks to be tied up for a bit.

Ummm, why? Clarkson, Abaji and plenty 1st round picks could get it done.

Why is boston considering this? They are a title contender, why do they want picks at this point?

Trading an All Star rarely results in bringing back a comparable player. There's obviously a history there with Ainge and Will Hardy. That said, I've always thought Donovan Mitchell, Jaylen Brown and Bam Adebayo might team up in Miami.

A combination of KAT and others for Jaylen and filler would work. Jaylen is a better player though. So need to figure out other details there.

I think the list of teams that would view Jaylen as a one-year rental who could put them over the top is tiny or even non-existent. I’m sure of you add in the couple of teams willing to risk losing him for nothing but would want to try and convince him to stay adds several more to the mix. I don’t think he’d be open to sign outside of a large market or his hometown Hawks. Dejounte for Jaylen is a great trade for both and makes sense. Beal’s contract makes that unlikely. Siakam makes a lot of sense. Maybe a third team gets involved with picks/players in any trade.

JB does give off that Kyrie vibe a bit.
Hope he resigns with us for the max, if not good luck to the next team he goes to dealing with his woke bull.

Yeah not trading the best player in franchise history for the corpses of Gallo and Gay, bench guards, filler and 2 firsts. No way any GM can sell that to season ticket holders let alone the FO
