Re: Mavericks brain fart
Is it a brain fart? I think that one of the ref indicated that it was their ball. If it’s the case, the refs changed the game.
Who was supposed to get the ball? Did the refs give it to the wrong team or lied to one of the team?
The Mavs should have just refused to keep going until it gets cleared.

Re: Mavericks brain fart
What was the score/time when this happened? Because that is the time the game will be replayed if the protest is successful.

Re: Mavericks brain fart
I honestly think this has a better chance than most. It wasn't a subjective call. Seems to be they just never announced the change in the call.
I have also seen a game where the protest was successful and the remaining minutes were replayed.

The Mavs should have just refused to keep going until it gets cleared.
Refs called a timeout for the Mavs after indicating possession for the Warriors and the Mavs thought the timeout indication was a possession overturn. Was not the clearest sequence though.
I do think the refs made a mistake in that it wasn't particularly clear, one of many mistakes by the refs. Anthony Lamb got clearly and obviously shoved in the back on a new possession in front of multiple officials that led to a Mavs 3. The officials, yet again, had an awful night.
Funny Cuban is protesting a game the Mavs had a 28-18 FT advantage and the Warriors did go inside.

Reffing went from absolutely atrocious during that fat crook's days to openly fixing games since the Vegas' deal.

Re: Mavericks brain fart
okay ... Mavs or Refs ... there is now an inversion involved here ... maybe Mavs no Brain Fart
... but with intentional inversion we now can create an ... "Ass Thought" which would be the opposite of Brain Fart
.... which the one who isn't guilty of the Brain Fart may actually be engaged in

Mavs making a formal complaint. They do this quarterly.
That was some horrible reffing though, so they're not wrong. Bad reffing across the whole league tonight

So were they trying to fix the game in the Mavs favor? 28-18 FT advantage, and that's including 2 intentional FT at the end. Steph pushed, grabbed, bumped all game long and shot 0 FT.

If their coach was anyone else other than Jason Kidd I would be blaming the refs, sadly this just makes too much sense from a Jason Kidd led team

Re: Mavericks brain fart
So everyone on the court and in the arena could see a Warriors player lining up out of bounds to take the ball from the ref to inbound it, and every member of the Mavs is just AFK. Come on man, they gotta take some accountability for this as well.
Edit: After watching the clip a few times, there isn't even a DALLAS PLAYER OVER THERE TO BE THE INBOUNDER.

Seems to me the Mavs might have won this game if they got Doncic to stop complaining so much

Re: Mavericks brain fart
Sequence before the break above -- possession indicated, then timeout indicated. Wasn't super clear, but it's there.

Come on, man, we all know the best way to fix a game is to make one bizarre and extremely noticeable call in the middle of the 3rd quarter, and then do nothing else suspicious the rest of the game. Guarantees the W to whoever you want it to go to.
