He was holding his leg last game too, several times.

At the end of the day we will know eventually if the team is telling the true, entering conspiracy territory doesn't help anyone

Yeah y'all are too damn much sometimes. I get it though, the scars from Andrew Bynum, Noel, two years of Embiid lies, Ben Simmons, Fultz, Smith... It's been a lot. Still.... this is all fine.

I'm ok with resting both Embiid and Harden on Friday at GS. Then Embiid can come back for Sat at PHO and the showdown Mon at DEN.

The ball movement was great. The role guys need games like this.

It would be so embarrassing if he won the award and we lost in the second round in a similar fashion (especially if the exit is influenced by a nagging Embiid injury where we say "well he wasn't 100% because of X in March).

That's why I literally give 0 **** about the MVP award. I don't care about the approval of doughy Northeast "journalists" for our team's best player.

I mean the last mvp got swept and near swept two years in a row and also got tossed in close out games.

it could always be worse.

I want him to get it so its out of the way and he can stop try harding for it if nothing else. Think he needs it to validate all the bull he's been through as you can't take that away from him and it kinda solidifies his status as an all time great. Then ideally he can age into more of a tim duncan type than the high scoring guy he is now.

Yeah I want him to get it just to check the box. No more whining from the organization & the fanbase about it & Joel can focus on more important stuff. I’m mostly just sick of talking about Embiid/Jokic, MVP voting philosophy, etc.

This. The only relevant MVP is the Finals MVP, the regular season MVP is much more about the player's individual success and ego than about team success.
