There's a couple of players I like more in terms of upside, but I agree, Wallace would be a perfect fit. He would be a plug and play player for us off the bat. A guard with size to play both guard spots, who can play on and off the ball, shoot the three, and defend the point of attack. He fits in virtually any version of the lineup we put out there.

Yeah no doubt there's still some other options if you wanna be risky and think strictly upside. But for a team that's had zero backup guard play all year he fits perfectly. Plus it's not like he a finished product he's literally only a freshman and we know how Kentucky guards can breakout

Our guard depth is so depleted even if they bring back FVV. Wallace perfect fit for us and love his game. If he becomes anything close to Jrue who took some yrs go get where he is, thats a prize.

Ya i didnt like Cason Wallace as a top prospect, but in the mid teens, he's great value.

Marquis Nowell is the most Fred VanVleet-type of prospect there is in this draft. Goes in for lay-up, misses short, then relocates for a three which he confidently turns his head and walks away down court upon release. Swish.

I too thought of fvv watching him, altho tbh I’ve seen him make passes in this game that I’ve never seen fvv ever make, so he’s impressive for a lil guy

Yeah I don’t get the hype for either him or Nick smith
I mean I guess I get the hype for tall guards with some skill, but they would be a bad fit for the raps cuz they can’t shoot. We don’t need more tall guys who can’t shoot lol

He's 7 feet and skilled, but not quite the passer I would want him to be where I'd be excited about it. I wouldn't hate drafting him.

UConn’s Adama Sanogo is from Mali. Masai’s got his eyes on him probably

Agreed. He’s a tough kid too. Performs at his best when the lights are brightest.
