Their draft is usually really bad. All kinds of nonsense including Hendricks #4 Smith #6 Rupert #11 Jackson #12.

Cason Wallace #18 is just like, what on earth have you been watching.

His quick release, and no concerns on shot contest make me think he is a NBA player. Wish he was a bit bigger and stronger, but he is a fun bench player. He has gravity on any court.

People mentioning Andre Jackson are noticing a really interesting player. Reminds me of Andre Iguadala. Amazing defender and playmaker who is a a great athlete. Huge doubts about his shot, but he has actually improved a bit on low volume. He is going to make the NBA much like a player like Gary Payton Jr. found a way.

Toronto could value a guy who is this effective in transition. If we are committed long-term to this style, he has appeal given the defense and athleticism. Would love to get a second to draft this guy.

Sidy at 26 would be a steal. Too low IMO.
We arent drafting NSJ.
Cason Wallace great pick at 13.

I think Sidy is where he's supposed to be.
Wallace, Rupert & Murray are mocked too low IMO.
Hood-Schifino, Clowney & Smith Jr are mocked too high.
No Bufkin in the first round either?

I have Sidy in 15 range. Think his skillset will be much more appealing from his peers.

Good call. Johnson is another athlete who is a bigtime defensive playmaker. I was seeing the nice feel for offense he has in that he make quick efficient passes on pitch aheads and quick interior passes, and he definitely improved his outside shot in year two. Johnson is I would say a bit shakier in ISO situations where he has the defense's attention. I do see the makings of a NBA player in there. Just needs a bit of refinement.

Jackson is more guard-like (26 AST%), also a riskier player which likely scares Nurse, but if Toronto wants all forwards who can handle and create offense, then Jackson maybe rated a bit higher because from what he has done on UCONN is act like the full time 1a/1b playmaker. He can't shot quite yet, but he is a guy who kind of make UCONN's pace as crazy as it is, and I think that is a focus for Toronto.

I know our front office highly rates makeup, character, and team-first guys in their player assessments. Here's some interviews of players we've been discussing to see how they carry themselves.

Does Keyonte Johnson give anyone else Kawhi vibes? I’m not saying he’s going to be Kawhi, but just his blue collar style of play, and he seems very quiet. Built like a brick house. He’s this years NormGOD in my opinion. I can see him averaging 15/5 on great percentages in the NBA.

He hasn’t shot below 47% from the field in college and that was his freshman season. Just rock solid and damn near can’t miss in the 2nd round.

Not great. I said he was him, and was first to move him past Scoot at my #2 but I’m not so sure. Scoot playing against actual men may be too much for Brandon to overcome with performances like this.

Honestly, with this game and the murder case, I think Brandon Miller should drop to the teens. Spread the word/propaganda

Just for reference, anywhere after the team who picks in front of us would be fine.
