Where are all the posters, how could any fan not be super excited about this intense season where we are in contention for home court through the east playoffs and a 60 win season. Have you guys forgotten the pain we went through 2 years ago in 23 and that final tank? Now here we are in 2026 and we are probably going to the finals and Cade is going to be the MVP, let's go fans, get in here and enjoy the ride.

I know what you've said is tongue in cheek, but this is the worst Piston team I personally have ever seen. Been watching for 35 years now, and I can't comment on the other 16 win team from like 81', but this team is right there as the worst in franchise history.

Apathy has set in. The most feared thing in business is not angry customers, but apathetic customers.

No one gives a **** about the Pistons anymore. No buzz, nothing.

Only thing that will help is if they win the lottery. 14% chance isn't great, and the odds of having two #1 picks within a few years after having only one in 50, are insanely low.

 I've already quit watching this game. I'm watching the Rockets/Grizzlies game, and the Celtics/Pacers game. Suns/Kings game later is gonna be a good one.

Brandon Miller 3 of 16 in the biggest game of his career.

We are getting beat up on the boards once again. And we're shooting 16% from deep. Not going to be able to be competitive playing like that.

NCAA tournament. I check in on them fairly often, but I feel better off not watching too intensely for what basically is tryouts for the last part of the season.

Still the third best prospect though.

I was entertaining friends in from out of town. They aren't basketball fans. Somehow. I doubt that watching this game would cause them, or anyone ever, to become fans. Oh and Ivey, that's not the kind of triple double you want to pursue.

I’m happy you still comment because I know you understand the team pretty well. I’m in shock too by how bad we are. I’m under the impression that Weaver decided to be the last in the league after the Cade injury. Not this bad though. I mean I don’t think we can win another game this season. I’ve never seen us this bad either. Now I’m thinking that Reggie/Drummond lineup rather the Jennings/Drummond lineup was the best team we’ve had since 08. If Jennings didn’t get injured I think he was on the rise to be an amazing point guard without the defense.

Wanna know what I fear? This is the Kings all over again. We’re gonna be a bottom 5 team again next year, will need to draft a Halliburton, trade him for a Sabonis and STILL need to draft Murray. This is what I was afraid of with tanking. Here’s to hoping Cade can turn this ship around. He’s our only hope at this point because AT THIS POINT, no Playoffs for another 2 years is what I’m expecting. We are desperate now. It’s Wenbenyama or bust unfortunately. It’s the only way we’ll get over the hump. I actually think we have a strong chance to win the lottery this year. But if we don’t we’re pretty much screwed for another year unless Weaver finally dishes out his best trade which I doubt. He’s looking to get more young talent just wait. At least our players are getting older. They’re not really getting better. Coach has gotta go. I believe he’s lost the roster.

I've said this before, but i truly believe that even with Cade going down, had asey been fired before the start of the season, and replaced, this team would have far more wins.

Casey is the weakest link in this chain, and that has become obvious to everyone. There are a ton of great coaches floating around, and of the Tyrone Lue news is true, Weaver has to do whatever it takes to land him as coach next season.

See I’m at a point where I could kiss Casey’s hands for losing this much for us. I believe he deserves a promotion to the front office as an assistant GM or something. Then get a new coach that way. Reason why? We’ve missed out on countless top 5 lottery picks trying to treadmill into playoffs. Now we’re loaded with them because of Weaver and Casey. Someone has to be out there losing the games. I just don’t think they expected to be this bad though. But might as well for a generational talent. When we get Wenbenyama that’s the ONLY way I’ll vouch for one more year with Casey. Then 20 games in, find a new coach. Who else is gonna lose this much to get you Cade Ivey Victor Duren? That’s a powerful force to reckon with.

If the Pistons land VW, Weaver will literally be at the top of the tanking heap.

I'll be shocked if the Pistons land #1. Personally I'm just happy it appears the Pistons will end up with the worst record, and can't fall below 5.

I'll be happy if they stay in the top 3. I can deal with that. 4 and 5, well, the end is nigh.

I'd much rather be where Orlando is right now... 5th worst record in the league but things looking up and young talent putting together wins. 31-43 record right now. 10.5% chance at the number one pick and overall a 42% chance of landing top 4 pick compared to the worst team's 52% chance of landing a top 5 pick.

This season Orlando has taken that inbetween step forward before you are a playoff team but you're clearing stepping out of the tanking bottom feeders pool that Detroit is still stuck in.

We're going to need a lot of things to go right for us this offseason just to get to Orlando's level next year.

Maybe it was a local thing, but Bally Sports Detroit was working about as well as the Pistons were playing last night. Cutting out entirely multiple times for long periods. Finally gave up on it in the 4th quarter, although in a sense their failure is a mercy. If Bally was a pet you'd conclude it was time to 'put it down.' Pistons suckage is epic.

Makes sense considering Bally Sports group headed by Diamond Group who's parent company is Sinclair (all these weird ass names) are looking to divest away from the sports market altogether since they're losing billions each year on it. With the pending sale, I imagine it's just duct tape holding up that end of the ship at this point

All Orlando need is a Mike Conley or a Ricky Rubio type of guard and they'll be a .50+ team. They're in a good place.

We're tanking right now... resting most of the guys with little injuries or who don't need the experience. I don't think we'll really learn anything new about any player at this point. This off-season will be big for our young core.
