Awesome game. Dallas is a miserably constructed team, all that talent at the top and absolutely no support from the role players. They're going to get blasted in the play-in.

They genuinely would have been better off with Rozier and Plumlee as they wouldn’t have had to trade away all their depth. Irving is a better player, but it gutted their team

It takes years of hard work to get sonned by JT Thor and the Swarm Kyrie was 1-8 from three for 18pts on 16 shots.

Obviously I know we still suck, but after watching all the flopping and crying to the refs it was fun to read the postgame meltdown.

This team doesn't suck, they just got kicked in the nuts repeatedly starting last summer all the way to this year. The Atkinson and Bridges fiascos, Bouknight breaking his hand before summer league (and turning to the bottle), Scottie Lewis tearing his ACL during summer league, LaMelo dealing with ankle injuries all season. This season was cursed from the get go.

This team has the most talented point guard and frontcourt it has had since the OG Hornets. If new ownership comes in and cleans out the garbage, keeps the talented folks onboard, and makes a few moves they will hit the ground running.

I guess I should clarify, we still suck this season, for all the reasons you mentioned. I said the other day on one of these threads that I think we can make a big jump up the standings next year even if we don't win the lotto so I definitely agree brighter days are ahead.
