Alright 2poor giving us a reason to check this board! lol.

I have a feeling this board won't die. I find myself coming back and checking it for no apparent reason.

We'll have plenty of offseason stuff to talk about.

Plus, my 8-5 job isn't going anywhere so I need to occupy my time somehow. :)

Its weird this board is getting a lot of new sporadic visitors after the season.

Where were all of you during the season, we could've used ya; misery loves company!

The White Sox thanked their fans through a video:

I like how they point out how they know how to do the wave.

Usually it's the underdog BC team trying to ruin ND's undefeated season (93, 02). The tables seem to be reversed now, maybe karma is on our side for an upset.

We'll probably get destroyed though. Just a terrible team this year.

GYBE, as a Celtic fan, will you be scared if the Bulls pick up Kobe without having to trade Luol, Kirk, or Big Ben Wallace?

Well, I don't see how it's possible for the Bulls to get Kobe without Ben as far as salary cap restrictions go. I guess a 3-team trade might be possible, but I don't think any teams are that far under the cap.

I think either way the Bulls are the main compeitition in the East for the C's. SO I guess they scare me even without Kobe. I expect an Eastern Conference Finals matchup to determine the better team.

Good times, hopefully the Bears are back to being for real, and now Bulls season begins.

Cubs fade costly to TBS
If the Cubs' three-and-out disappearing act hurt their fans, imagine how TBS felt.

For starters, networks make their money in the postseason with series that go long. More games, more cash.

However, instead of showing Game 4 of the Cubs-Arizona series with a well-rested Carlos Zambrano at noon Sunday, TNT (the game was slated for Turner's sister station) televised a movie called "The Prince and Me."

Dude, the network execs must be slitting their wrists over the playoffs. Last year was Detroit/St. Louis, this year...Cleveland/Phoenix?

If there were any good conspiracies at all, the Cubs would still be in this thing.

Nothing. But only because I plan on buying the box set when it's released.

Didn't they have their CD for "whatever price you wanna pay for it"?
