It's frustrating because Wood played REALLY good when he was a starter, then he got injured and Kidd benched him. Hasn't looked the same since. I think it's just confidence at this point.

This is absurd... Kidd starts a scrub only because Wood isn't Anthony Davis. What a stupid way of thinking.

They would be able to trade that pick too if they wanted to correct?

It's really noticeable. Never seen something like that. Someone sucked the life out of him. Also doesn't help that Kidd's offensive scheme is 5 guys stand around the 3pt line and just watch, but still... This is incredible.

I don’t care of it’s tough, it’s quite disgraceful. He has been a bad leader and he has to mature and keep his emotions in check.

I'm not going to make any assumptions because i have no clue what's going on but we can't erase what he has done for this team in the last 4 and a half year. There is something going on with entire team, it's not just him. Almost everyone look like they don't care.

You have 5 guys standing around the 3pt line watching. Is this really the best thing a coach can come up with? With both Kyrie and Luka on the floor?

He was generally pouting when it was getting tough. I have been defending him for the past few years when people were saying that he looked like a “giant spoiled baby” out there. But enough is enough. He’s the leader of the team and he has to lead by exemple.

No one is questioning his immense talent. Just his maturity and his desire to work on himself physically and psychologically.

In all fairness Wood is a really bad defender and rebounder. He gets pushed around in the paint and is not really a high IQ guy. The only thing he does well is get buckets. He can absolutely score and is very skilled on the offensive end. It’s just everything else that he sucks at.

Hideous rotation D by Luka. If he can't move, he shouldn't play. He's hurting the team right now.

Well, we have 4 and a half years of evidence that it's not exactly like you're saying. Plus his EU career. But these past few weeks have been a head scratcher for real.

Team shooting 20% right now. Holy ****. It's like they are giving a fat middle finger to Kidd. They're not even trying.

It looks like Luka completely checked out.

Yo lucky Cuban protected that pick. No way Kyrie carrying you guys to play-in himself.

Just like that Doncic has 21 pts and Mavs are back. People really made all those threads in general is making me laugh. If dude is motivated and his mind is right, he's a monster.

Honestly, I think maybe it's for the Best Mavs have this kind of season...Maybe the FO will finaly see that Powell, Ntilikina, Pinson, McGee , Bertans .are wasted roster spots
I'd honestly let Wood go also...he can catch fire, but very low IQ Player..he thinks he's a lot better than he is...he wants to be an all star...he's a 6th Man at best

Wood is fine he don't complain and accepts every role given to him... If I was him I would be complaining bc there is no reason why he shouldn't be getting 30 minutes a game, he has good chemistry with Luka.

Yeah, but there is a reason why nobody wants him..he wants to be a shooter , eurostep Player instead of focusing on dominating down low, post ups

Ironically seasons best defense from Luka in the 3rd Q and Mavs still down. Also starting Maxi over Powell has been much better.
