Absolutely.

With a healthy LeBron I have Lakers as favorites to come out of the West.

If we’re at full power then I don’t see anyone out west that can stop us.

I also so fear anyone in the East either

If Lebron & AD are both healthy, it would still require Beasly & D’Lo to average high with their 3pt percentages for them to have a chance.

They have the best defense right now after the trade; so it’s their offense that has to click for them to have a chance.

& since Lebron is a big IF for this season, I’m not holding my breath on them winning

If you have Lebron as close to 100% and you get some favourable playoff match ups then I could see the Lakers winning the west but I think the Bucks will win it all if they stay healthy.

Lebron upgraded to doubtful for today. Huge news IMO, I wasn't expecting him back for another week at the very least.

Now he will most certainly not play today, but I think it's very realistic he suits up on Wednesday in the first game of the road trip.

That would give him 7 games to ramp up.

The best team i saw this year is Milwaukee with Giannis. Stop them, you win the Chip. And at this time, ain't seen nobody challenge the Bucks

I think we have the talent to beat anyone and the depth... The problem is, I've not seen us put it all together in a single game this season... When we won the championship last time, the Bucks looked unstoppable, and then we smacked them in the mouth and took one from them... That was the last time I can remember AD and LeBron having a great game together along with the role players and bench all also stepping up... About the only game we have like that left this season is the Clips in a week... But without PG, that should be an easy win for us.

I think we're a WCF loss team...

Somehow we go from AD talking about what a great relationship he has with LeBron and how he loves playing in LA... To him getting 8 shots and 5 fouls against a Vuc-less Bulls...

Someone, I think Windhorst, said that some GMs told him Lakers have a top 5 roster in the West at least.

So Lakers may not be looking to make big roster changes in the offseason, regardless of how it finishes. Supposedly no longer in the running for Kyrie?

There would need to be a lot of consistency to get to the WCF that I'm not seeing. A lot of the contributors who've helped win a few of the LeBron-less games are not playoff tested. My guess is we'd see a shortened rotation and a lot more Bron walking it up in the Playoffs. Not sure that's a winning approach.

Because bum teams become contender teams when playing against Lakers... This why when doing a top 10 next games thread and everyone always says we should win this game, blah, blah, I almost always have us Losing those 'we should win games' haha.

Generally you need to have 1-2 guys that can be the best player on the floor as well as a supporting cast and you need the team to be at their best at the right time. That and luck. So i would argue that the ingredients are there.

But i dont trust their health and i’m not so sure that they have enough time to be able to play at their best given how few games they’ve actually played together. On the other hand i dont really trust anyone else in the West. The Grizzlies are young and the turmoil surrounding Ja doesn't help. And the Nuggets depend too much on Jokic. And Warriors haven’t been all that good, so the West is kinda open in my opinion.

Different story in the east though.

Would I want to be the team to face them on the first round? No

Are they contenders? Also no. Too much would have to suddenly go near perfect.

Russell would have to suddenly be a player who ups his game in the playoffs. It’s a small sample size, 11 games, so far he doesn’t.
