1ST Q: SPURS 32 CELTICS 30

Well well well! Looks who's made 4-9 from 3 and 14-27 overall on terrific off ball movement, crisp passing, and good paint shot making as well?

Every Spur who has taken a shot has scored already, so eight of nine players. Wow.

10 assists already.

ZERO TO's is wonderful.

We're making a concerted effort to find Collins and when our bigs get doubled, we find the open man well.

We've left some open shooters in favour of doubling lesser scorers, but the rotations on D have been better so far.

Keep it moving!

Didn't love that step back 3 attempt by Devin. It was in transition, but no other Spur was near him. Not every 3 is or every quick shot is the best one.

GOOD SAVE of the ball from going out of bounds by Devin. Tre floater miss. Too bad we didn't reward ourselves for it.

Good recognition to pass to Collins who had the mismatch.

AGAIN we pass to Collins down low and AGAIN it's bobbled, he gets stripped, and points the other way. Passes too low, and now they're coming from behind to poke the ball. Passing overhead when we have a smaller guy on Collins is better.

Collins another solid post up versus a smaller defender.

GREAT pass by Collins, doubled in the left post, skip out to Romeo for 3.

2ND Q: SPURS 58 CELTICS 68

Well **** lol

Giving up another 60+ point by half, nearly 70 on two 30+ point Qs, this one 38. Oof.

We went from no TOs to 6 in this one which cost us 13 points - there's the come from behind lead we gave up. And while 16 assists to 6TOs looks good for the half, we actually were 5 assists and 6TOs for this Q so we have to reverse the trend.

Game's not done, obviously but we're trending away from winning paint points, down 36-24 so far. Part of that is getting blocked 5 times already.

We're giving up too many rebounds as well. We started hustling and gang rebounding but dropped off; we're down 25-21 and 4-1 on O boards, including some putback +1s.

FTs - we put them on the line 12-15 and have gotten there only 6-8.

Those several consecutive points-against runs really affect the legs and momentum.

Our bench has scored 17 points so far, with everyone but Barlow attempting and making a shot.

Surprised that Blake hasn't played yet.

Collins leads us with 18, the lone double digit scorer for us.

Let's protect the ball at the rim and in our hands, run back on D, and keep pushing and sharing it on O.

Tre had only 3 attempts in the first half. Nice to se him assert himself on that O ball pick up and drive.

Tre AGAIN! Nice floater and using a cutting Collins as a decoy to keep that left side more exposed.

Five Spurs in the paint as they pass back to the trailer alone at the arc.

I get that running back on D was likely drilled into us by Pop in the half time break, but that felt like an over-correction lol

Somebody has to pick up the last opponent.

Two steals, two contested misses. They're sealing up the paint hard now. We also have to be better at protecting the ball with our bodies and not exposing it out there.
