The degree of discourse has gotten comical here as captain hindisghts now proclaim Jalen Green to be a post-facto inferior prospect to Jordan freaken Hawkins.

The funny thing is that Green is a few months older than him. If Jalen was playing against these scubs he’d be scoring 40 points a game.

Green dropped 40 the other night vs the Pelicans lol.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything

he'll definitely find a role imo but he's not going to be a star unless he has an insane work ethic and develops his handle to an elite level like Steph did. It's a very weak class unlike the past several so he could still go top 20

Re: 2023 NBA Draft
I love Hawkins as a UConn man, but his ceiling is 3-D SG
Which is good, like Quentin Grimes is very good for the Knicks with a similar skillset, but it's not something you spend a top 10 pick on unless he's like Klay Thompson level good
I think if you take him in the lottery, that's an overpay. Somewhere around 20 is right for him, he should be a quality role player.

Agreed for the most part. But Grimes has a stronger physique and is a better defender, too.

They're both listed as 6-5, Grimes is 20 pounds heavier, but I feel like just going by the eye test, Hawkins is longer and rangier. Won't know until the combine though
Like, Grimes isn't great against bigger wings, but it isn't a complete mismatch, where I think Hawkins would be more of a mismatch against those types.

Sensabaugh has being growing on me as I've tried to catch up recently, didn't watch much OSU during the year, but I'm liking what I'm seeing.
I bought a boat.

You'll like him less as you watch him more.

No concerns about his terrible defense and obvious playmaking limitations? What is the role you see him in at the next level? Clearly he is a FRP with his scoring prowess but it's tough for me to be very high on him because of those concerns and limitations.

What’s the consensus on Terq? His percentages are terrible but I still see something there. He seems to score easy, but then his percentages suck….if that makes sense

OSU played better without him in that big 10 tourney game.
Praying for Burrow

What role do you see for someone who is small, can't score inside the arc, isn't that good of a shooter and not a primary playmaker either? Is offensive spark off the bench a good-case scenario? What's that really worth in terms of draft picks?

Re: 2023 NBA Draft
Terq reminds me of Kira Lewis, who's been a huge bust, and Lewis had elite off the dribble speed
that's not to say that means Terq will bust (he won't go nearly as high as Kira to bust) but hard to see what he can do @ NBA level at this point other than a pretty decent pull up game but not sure that's enough.

He’s a better passer and defender than people realize but a worse scorer.

2023 NBA Draft
I’d say something similar to Brandon Jennings or Lou Williams. Small guards who have a score first mentality. 6th men types.

Where would you draft someone who has ‘small score-first 6th man’ as a positive-end outcome?
