Jaden is getting more recognition recently..hope that can help in refs calling better whistle on him on defense

Can you imagine the perception of McDaniels if he played for the Lakers?

Raptors fan here.

McDaniels is hella impressive. His last 15 games he averaging 16/5/2 and his defense has been his best part. His switchability is amazing, and the fact his offense is coming around is great to see. Minnesota you got a good one in McDaniels.

I don't think Jaden is going to be fully recognized for his defense until he shakes the stigma of fouling all the time.
And it's going to take some time first for him to get better at that and second for the refs to stop picking on him because of that bad reputation.
So I'd be very surprised if he made 1st or 2nd team all-defense this year, even if he deserves it.

If he gets all-defense (which would be insane if he didn't at this point) I think the refs will have to tone it down. He gets one of the worst whistles in the league based on last year and his rookie year. The good thing is they tend to let them play more in the playoffs, which bodes well for his style of physical play.

The announcers said late in last night’s game cast, “Anthony Edwards has put the stamp on “Seatbelt” .. but we like “Quiet Storm.””

Tough game for Jaden last night, but this was a great defensive possession.

This is not meant to be inflammatory, but I've always kind of viewed his floor as OG Anunoby but with more offensive upside than he ever had.

Pretty much nukes Minnesota’s Playoff hopes. Very stupid and unfortunate behaviour.

But McDaniels was bleeding all over Valanciunas before halftime?!?

I’m really curious to get the whole story here.

Not really much of a story. You can see him immediately grab his hand, after this punch.

Recently I have thinking Jaden is a bit overrated. He makes some really dumb turnovers on offense. We will see what happens in the play-in/playoffs.

I love the step Jaden took this year and I'm excited about his future but that's one of the dumbest ways to get hurt. No excuse for it and now he's probably out the remainder of the year.

He can't dribble near as well as he thinks he can
product of the Inspector Gadget arms is that its tough to have a tight dribble

I hope it's not a severe fracture and he heals up quick. There's no timetable given yet right? Hoping he's back in a week or so

I hope this gets the eight million dollar man to reexamine team chemistry and roster construction.
