Yes, techincal fouls get rescinded relatively often.

Wasn't one of Ant's recent ones rescinded?

I prefer either of those to the play-in.

I absolutely get where you're coming from. But I think home-court is crucial this year more than any before.

Only 3 West teams are currently above .500 on the road this year. Sacramento (22-14), Denver (19-18) and the Clippers (19-18). The next best road team going into today is actually Minnesota (17-20).

Good point!

But do you think that the Kings play a winning PO basketball?

You guys are really bipolar. One great game and we now expect to get the 4th seed and win a championships :D I will be happy if we hold on to the 7th seed.

What was so great about the GSW win is that we didn't play all the well overall but was awesome in D - a win with lots of margin for error. Sign of a very good team.

That is the other counterpoint.

There's part of me that sees us like last year's Grizzlies and Sacramento like last year's Wolves. But then again, Memphis in that scenario had home court too. So it's kind of a tough call as to what I'd necessarily prefer. I do think there's a benefit to being in the 3-6/2-7 side of the bracket, as opposed to 1-8/4-5 side though.

I'm not bi-polar, I'm always delusionally optimistic.

Also, who said anything about expectations? I expect nothing and appreciate the positive.

Golden State announcers kept saying we were playing our A+ Game. We did nail a ton of threes early but I think KAT and Ant were lacking scoring-wise. Our role guys played really well though, above normal.

Yes, techincal fouls get rescinded relatively often.

.. for stars.

Which is kind of a shame, because Doncic is already doing so many childish things during a game that could warrant technical fouls, but don’t get called. If an average player behaved like him, he’d probably be closer to 30 techs. I understand that fans pay to see stars play, but at some point, his spoiled brat antics takes away from the game as a whole.

That imo rescinding it was Bullsh*t (though I'm definitely biased).

No help at all from other teams tonight. Good thing we won. The half empty glass looks like we are still only two game remote from falling out of play in. The half full glass have us getting the 4th seed Wednesday with KAT back in the lineup.

Here are the schedules for the teams the rest of the way...

The Clippers (36L) ~ @ Memphis, @ Memphis, @ NO, vs Lakers, vs Portland, @ Suns (brutal!!)
The Suns (35L) ~ vs Wolves, vs Denver, @OKC, vs Spurs, vs, Denver, @ Lakers, vs Clippers
Warriors (37L) ~ vs NO, vs Spurs, @ Denver, vs OKC, @ Sac, @ Portland
NO (37L) ~ @ Golden State, @ Denver, vs Clippers, vs Sac, vs Memphis, vs Knicks, @ Wolves
OKC (38L) ~ vs Hornets, vs Pistons, @ Indiana, vs Suns, @ Golden State, @ Utah, vs Memphis
Lakers (38L) ~ @ Bulls, @ Wolves, @ Rockets, @ Utah, @ Clippers, vs Suns, vs Utah
Mavs (39L) ~ @ 76ers, @ Heat, @ Hawks, vs Kings, vs Bulls, vs Spurs
Utah (40L) ~ @ Spurs, @ Boston, @ Brooklyn, vs Lakers, vs OKC, vs Denver, @ Lakers
Wolves (37L)~ @ Suns, vs Lakers, vs Portland, @ Brooklyn, @ Spurs, vs NO

My predictions:
4. Suns 44-38
5. Wolves 43-39
6. Warriors 43-39
7. Clippers 42-40
8. NO 41-41
9. OKC 41-41
10. Mavs 40-42
11. Lakers 40-42
12. Jazz 38-44

That last game against NO will decide who plays in the play-in game and who makes the playoffs. Mavs win tie breaker against the Lakers.

The 4th seed is very achievable. That's my target.
