So yeah, Tyronn Lue is finally going to give Covington burn, as every Clipper fan on here, Twitter and in the arena demanded.

But remember, it's too late. Clippers have 36 losses, effectively eliminating them from a title shot. They needed to be between 10 and 35 regular season losses because previous NBA championship teams did so. They are guaranteed to lose in the playoffs should they qualify, but that doesn't mean they can't play spoiler either.

Wayyyyyyyyyy toooooo late but better than never. I bet it's gotten so bad even Ballmer was like WTF why is this guy still playing. Like MTV said, Ty Lue still the 2nd worst coach in the league.

the last time morris was expected to be downshifted in his role, it was off the back of a bunch of momentum and synergized play where he was gone.

That leak probably came from the front office, implying that they’ve thrown their weight at Lue to make it happen. You don’t go from starting then suddenly going to 0 mins by the coach alone.

Hearing that they got a second opinion for the external doctors and Morris has a severe, incurable form of suckitis. I wish him the best in his recovery. Hope he can get a little time vs Memphis, so he can rope Dillon Brooks into a couple of techs. Other than that, I would keep him away from the team, so that no one else comes down with it.

Great ball movement and shooting tonight.

It is very important to get at least 1 of the next 3 games to remain in the top 6.

Imagine if the roles were reversed and the Clippers had 11 segababas (second game of back to back- love the abbreviation some guy used on the GB) for their opponents like the Lakers had this season. Would have probably been good for 2-3 additional victories

Let’s try not to kick him while he’s down, Morris did a lot for the club when our stars were out in previous years. He just hit a wall and got old fast, it happens in sports to the best of em. Glad he’s been supportive of this move.
