The matchup everyone was looking forward to is off. Embiid is hiding somewhere and can't play.

Can't say I'm surprised but IF he does indeed have a calf injury, he should stay off it, but this does seem more than coincidental IMO

Without Embiid and Harden this is a "must-win" game, especially because Sixers as contenders are our potential opponent in a big final where home-court advantage may be crucial! I know it is way too early to talk about the 2023 final series, but with eventual tonight's upset shorthanded Sixers would tie their W-L record with Denver.

Poor close out but still put this "contender" away just as we should have, just as we did with the Bucks

Today I will remeber not liking getting this game to be close, tommorow I'll just see a W.

What concerns me is our bench and especially new players. Have you read something about injuries? Bryant getting only garbage minutes now, Reggie out too...

Not seeing either on the injury reports although a nagging minor injury might not be reported. The bench is the problem and Malone has only a few games to find a fix, if one is there. I am not sure about Murray spending a lot of minutes with the bench but I also saw Maxey doing exactly the same for the sixers.

So far it seems the only fix possible is to not sub out Nikola. After the trade deadline I wrote with Reggie and Bryant I am pretty confident about our bench. Didn“t last long...

Not getting this game but I can say this; I'm never surprised when Embiid and/or Harden are out "injured". I don't think Embiid has played more than five games against Jokic and I know Jokic doesn't miss many games, so ...
