The 4th seed is very achievable. That's my target.

That's what I say too...

Who knows...KD or Chris Paul could be hurt by the time the playoffs start. Golden State is the one team I want to avoid.

If we win tomorrow, chances are good because we will have a easier schedule than LAC and PHX. Who wins tie breaker between Wolves and those two team? Also, LAC play PHX last game of the season. Yes, it's wishful thinking putting all those other teams in the rear view mirror.

Kings are by far the easiest team you can play in R1...Wolves might even be favored vs Kings and being 6th seed also helps them to be in same bracket as Grizzlies. Wolves will have a shot to win 2nd round if they end up in that 6th seed. Even if CP3 is injured, KD + Booker combo is good enough to win a series...I'd prefer to avoid Suns, Warriors and maybe even Nuggets if possible

That was a very bad loss. I'm greedy.

Wasn't talking to you, but in a nutshell it's one of the reasons this forum is hard to read at times. The goalposts are constantly shifting and as soon as there's some success all people can do is point out the flaws.

It's like neck-bearded virgins talking on the internet about a super model's pointy elbows.

I guess we're rooting for the Pelicans tonight? Although the Warriors defeating them isn't the worst thing in getting closer to locking in #7.

Good question...

Any tiebreaker with New Orleans for us will come down to the season finale.
GSW series is split, meaning it comes down to conference record. We're currently 1.5 games up in that tiebreaker.

Knowing all of that, I think I'd rather have the Pelicans win. But it's a tough call.

It's definitely a weird situation. I'm greedy and want the playoff spot but I also don't want a scenario where we're pushed to 9 or 10 or worse.

Locking in #7 isn't what I'm interested in. The #4 seed is.

That's a difficult listen. And unfortunately, the question is not whether a Towns-Gobert partnership works offensively, but rather can it function on the other side of the ball.

Wow, these Hornets are just cleaning up our western conference adversaries huh? Two wins over the Mavs and now a win over the Thunder.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
