You only trade Bam for Embiid or Jokic,

This team is good when it plays defense, they went with more "offense" and became a worse offensive and defensive team this year. It's how it got to game 7 in ECF last year and the finals during the bubble.

Riley is riding this team into the ground because he believes in his vision...mistaking past successes as his accomplishments, even though anyone paying attention knows it was DWade getting his buddies (Shaq, James, Bosh, etc.) to come to town that led to the Heat's trophies. DWade, who Riley did not want to draft. The draft wizard Riley famously wanted (LOL) Chris Kaman.

You only trade Bam for Embiid or Jokic, Bam isn't a real scorer although solid but he's the anchor on defense when you have solid defenders around him which Miami has decided to go away from. Just build around Butler and Bam.

If they could get a player like Claxton or Brandon Clark or a player of similar caliber to play center in a seperate deal, they could absolutely move Bam to get a elite perimeter player or wing to pair with Jimmy.

I'd be fine trading them all, even though I think not going all in with Jimmy is a mistake we are going to regret (those type of players don't just come along every day, you have to maximize them when you get them).

But we absolutely under no circumstance should be trying to build around Bam. I know his fans are in here having a meltdown because ppl are criticizing him the same way they've spent seasons criticizing every other player on this team, but its not even a knock against him. He's just not that great of a player to build around and has shown very little ability to be that in the future. It'd be a huge mistake.

Keeping Bam as a franchise guy for the next 5-10 years would be another huge mistake by the front office. The entire roster just needs to just be burnt to the ground at this point

You guys have so many misconceptions

He is an elite piece to have around a star like Jimmy and another high level all star scorer, it might not get any better than him in that scenario.

Dont need a C who demands the ball.

Just someone who can rotate on D and clean up broken plays on offense.

The fact that 99% of anyone who watches the NBA knows we'd do Bam for Jokic or Bam for Embiid swap in a heartbeat, while the other team NEVER WOULD, should tell you everything you need to know about how ridiculous that statement was.

Yep it's a big part of it. I honestly think he lost the team this year and they don't want to play for him anymore as well.

Small ball is a gimmicky scheme that works when the talent level is above most teams (Warriors). But the Heat does not have the better talent most nights, but keeps trying to make teams adjust to them instead of adjusting to the other team’s personnel on the floor with taller players.
The Heat never considered Zeller and Bam together to counter Toronto’s Siakam and Precious, so they got destroyed at the board. Nothing new, it’s been happening all season. Absolutely no adjustment from this coach.

Naw it's the truth....Shaq literally said he chose to go to Miami because he wanted to play with Wade, and we all know Bosh and Bron don't come here without him.

Let's assess the damage:

Herro and Bam eeked out satisfactory numbers on paper but this was a team loss through and through and the leaders must meet this loss with responsibility. Do you understand?
