Need an answer on this myself. Probably too late for this season but I need to find a better option next season. 190 for a year is ~16 a mo and woks for me but I've heard bad things about the video quality and they are all but in BK.

There's a seven day trial that I'm gonna try out tomorrow across multiple devices. If the stream quality is adequate $189 is a relative drop in the bucket for a year's worth of Bucks and Brewers. It allows for two simultaneous streams as well, so maybe I'll go on it with my brother.

You realize this can be used as evidence in your kidnapping trial, yeah?

You mean I get to go to prison instead of arguing with her? Sounds like I hit the jackpot.

Is this your child? Have we got to the point where the deviant has children (though I'm fairly certain you were a teacher...)

I'm usually all for playing when it's an awful idea but we're already half through the week and I'm not getting off crutches any time soon and can't bend more than about 10 degrees.

Ankle on the same leg is fairly **** still from the start of the season too. There's just no way of it being other than a peg leg type of thing.

Yeah, you're done. You definitely need to go see a physio too, you might need imaging.

I installed the Bally Sports app on my Xbox and it's working nicely. Picture quality is a notable step down from Apple TV broadcasts but it looks comparable to a typical cable broadcast. If this is what I can expect from the Bally Sports + I'll pay for it and be happy.

I thought so but I don't remember 100%. I'll try it with the Bucks tonight.

The sportsbook at Poto is now open. Temporary location on the third floor. The permanent book opens in the fall. They do not accept bets on any Wisconsin college sports.

You have to place bets in person at the casino. You can select your bets at home, or anywhere, via a website which generates a QR code. You can then scan the QR code at the casino and your bets will be placed. Cash only.

First bet was made by the mayor, $5 on the Bucks to win the title at +250. He'll win $12.50.

Any idea if this will lead to online/app based better anytime soon?

Right now it's a website (you can find the link on their website). The website functions a lot better on a computer than the phone. For each bet you make it generates a QR code that you scan at one of their kiosks. It's a 3rd party website (Kambi). It's lame they don't have an app. But whether it's an app or a website you still have to go to the casino to place the actual bets. You can generate the codes at home or anywhere, then go to the casino. It potentially saves some time. Or you can place bets directly with a clerk. Or punch them into a kiosk at the casino.

It will be a cluster for awhile and it's crammed into a temporary area for a few months. The permanent book that opens in the fall is going to be pretty nice.

Ahh, gotcha. Thanks. Hopefully this leads to online betting state-wide sooner than later.

Unfortunately that would require an amendment to the state constitution and that's not going to happen.

Oneida in Green Bay also has the bet onsite requirement but they own several businesses in that area and you can use their app (powdered by IGT, a major player in gambling tech). You can drive to any of their properties and make your bets on the app and go. You don't have to leave your car. They use geo fencing to make sure you are somewhere on their property, even a parking lot. It's not as good as being able to bet from anywhere but at least you don't have to park and walk into the casino. Hopefully Poto does this in the future.

For those into sports betting in the MKE area, I went to Poto last night around 6 to check it all out.

There are 5-6 kiosks on the third floor as you enter from the parking garage. Very convenient if you just want to bet and leave. Or go down the escalators to the main floor, turn left and go past the craps tables to where the Firepit Sportsbar used to be. That's where the temporary location is. There were 3 betting windows to place bets with a person. Also more kiosks. A small bar, a few tables, a few TV's, a few odds boards on the wall. This is all temporary until the new, large sportsbook is opened in the fall. Kiosks are available 24 hours. Not sure what the hours for the betting windows are. Winning bets can be cashed there or at the regular casino cashiers.

I tried all 3 ways to make bets:

1. At the window with a clerk. New employees plus new software means it's not a fast process but that's to be expected. Tell the guy who you are betting on and for how much, simple. He'll ask if it's the points line or money line. Each bet generates a separate ticket as expected. The guy had trouble figuring out how to punch everything in, take my money and then print all the tickets (as is done in Vegas). So each one was done separately. No big deal. I placed a couple of final 4 bets, a couple of NBA bets for tonight, a couple of baseball parlays.

2. Kiosks. Easy to use. Select the sport you want and everything appears on the screen. Pick the game, enter the amount. Cash only, slide your bills into the machine. Ticket prints out. You can bet on virtually everything around the world. Darts? You bet. Individual player props? Yup. Futures? Yup.

3. QR code. The best way to bet. From the website I had selected a couple of bets and each one generated a QR code, I just took a screen shot of them a couple of hours before I went. Go to the kiosk and scan the bar code and your bet(s) come right up. Insert the cash and you're good to go. Of course if the odds changed from the time you created the QR code you get the current odds/points at the time you are making the bet.

Overall a pretty good experience. They were smart to hold off until after football and March Madness as the area is small for now.

Can you bet on how many innings it takes the Brewers to score a run?
