That's why they got him in the first place: superstar insurance. They are 2-9 when no superstar plays, and Wall was a role star, having only five All-Star appearances. We know how that turned out. As long as a true superstar remains, their chances of winning are high. Without all three, they are a lottery team.

But Clippers have a bigger incentive. A win tonight ensures them of a winning record, maintaining a winning record streak since the 2012 lockout season. So even if they lose the rest of the way after tonight's win, they will be no lower than .500 come Game 82.

Lose all of them, and they will be under .500 (40-42) for the first time since 2010-11 season.

Brooks trying to get in Russ's head and Russ is having none of it. It is the Grizzlies fake tough guy to get hyped up strategy. RoCo pushing Morant was hysterical: "Get out of my way you young punk"

Let's see if they can keep bringing the energy while not letting the Griz antics get to them. Brooks wouldn't pull this **** with Kawhi because he would get no reaction.
