Cranjis McBasketball (Lakers exceptionalism podcast 27 Mar 2023) just went through this.

Lakers' offence utilises mostly offensive sets that (league-wide) result in a lot of FTs (postups, isos and other sets that result in shots at the rim), and mostly don't use sets that don't (drives, spot up jumpers, floaters).

Lakers defense also gives up offence that results in fewer foul shots (turning layups/dunks into floaters, fewer postups and isos)

It's part of the game plan
