Yup. Raps then Cavs. I want the Bucks to face those two. I think they have the personnel to slow down Giannis.

Then for the Celts, I want them to face the Heat. Bam can step out and Jimmy can outscore Tatum in crunch time.

Same sentiments here. That cavs & Knicks series is going to be really good too because for me it's a toss up on who wins that one

Will you stop saying "crunch time" please?

Not that it was in any doubt. Magic number for 3 seed is 1 game unless Cleveland makes miracle comeback tonight.

We are pretty much locked in 3 seed. Depends how many games embiid and harden want to miss the rest of the way to rest.

Harden look much better tonight’s moving

I know embiid wants the mvp. But a week off could do wonders.

Great team win. I like that ultra athletic bench group with Harden directing the offense. Reed has been a real plus of late.

[quote="HardenToSixers"]Siakam is garbage and always

Not garbage just don't understand what the raptors thought they were doing trying to make him the guy lol. Scotter Barnes looks like a baby iggy.

Yeah, I get Iguodala and Shawn Marion vibes from him. I can't stand the Raptors, but Barnes is becoming one of my favorite players in the game. The athleticism, talent, ability...It's all there for him to have a great career in the league. I hope he becomes a Sixer at some point.

Forget about the offense. What we have is a lockdown defense to turn to. Iam not worried about the Bucks. Celtics are the biggest obstacle. Whoever takes that series is emerging from the East. We are in contention.

We have better offense than both.

We have the personnel to defend their alphas on single coverage, which they both dont have.

#3 as good as locked in (Cleveland loses). Now go and let Embiid and Harden get some rest the next 2 weeks.
We probably just need 1 W

Yep agreed. Win one game out of the remaining 5 and rest Harden and Embiid until playoffs.

I personally would let Jo/Harden play, but with less minutes, to keep them sharp. Play them the first halves.

I just created a post about this. Advocating for Doc to give them a look going forward and in the playoffs.

Doc will likely play them unless told otherwise. He talked about the importance of conditioning going into the playoffs.

Don't want to sound too cocky, but you can use the first round against Brooklyn to get into condition again (if one can lose so much in 2 weeks).

Health is much more important.

Agree with this. Maybe a day or two off for each, but otherwise very limited minutes (20-24 max) to keep them sharp. I'm just not sure if Glenn has it in him to take this approach.

Limited mins ain't happening. Would hurt Embiid's per-game averages.

More likely they take a game or two off. Especially one on the final B2B vs MIA and at ATL the 6th and 7th.

I'll guess they skip Fri the 7th at MIA, then the last game Sun the 9th at BKN. They'll have zero to play for by then.
