Goga had a much bigger impact in this game that the stats suggest, however he got credited with only 2 blocks and he had at least two more.

It’s just funny to me that people think beating a tanking Washington team sitting their 3 best players in April is a quality win. It won’t matter.

Indiana, Portland, and Washington are tanking because of the standings right now for 5th best odds. If any of these 3 teams win Wemby, then anyone cheering this win will look stupid.

Be real.

And if we get 8th best and win can we laugh too?

With a 6% chance as opposed to double that at 12?

Sure.

Probably more emotion than you’ll feel winning this game.

How many more do we think the Magic will win over the last 5?

A win over Detroit to get to 34 and then we'll see who Cleveland, Miami and Brooklyn sit out?

We're beating Detroit. Lose both to Cleveland. Not sure about the last two. Miami has lost 3 in a row and we recently beat Brooklyn. Could go 1-4 or 3-2.

Indiana has Detroit at home. I think they get a win there. Washington has Houston at home. I think they get a win there too.

That would put them both at 35 wins.

If the Magic go 1-4, then they finish still 6th worst and a lot of this bellyaching was for nothing, right?

I personally think we finish 7th. If Washington sits Beal and Porzingis the rest of the way, they'll jump us. Indy at least has decent role players starting.

Finishing 7th after being in the 5 spot for the majority of the season sucks.

Didn't watch the game but looking at the box score and seeing the team that Washington fielded that was a blatant tank job.

This is ridiculous. Will someone explain exactly what you want is to do? Our best players are our young guys. Paolo is a rookie. Do you want to sit him out even though he wants to play. Franz is in his 2nd year. Do you wanna sit him out when he wants to play. Also we are NOT mathematically eliminated. Long shot yes but still alive. What message are you sending to your young guys if you force them to sit when they want to play while still technically alive

Until they get Wemby and Scoot, and we get the 10th pick.

We'll see. Nothing is guaranteed. I'd prefer us landing Wemby than them but we'll have to wait and see how it all works out.

The future certainly isn’t set in stone but 2 years ago we were desperate for Cade or Green. Currently neither of those guys have made a difference whereas Franz and Paolo have lifted us up to within striking distance of the play-ins.

I’m not turning my nose up at Wemby, Scoot or Miller, but there’s definitely a path to a future without them.

If only Fultz could stub his toe in his mansion and be out for 3 weeks at the end of the season instead of during training camp and the first 3 weeks of the season.

100%. I just think Wemby would be a perfect fit for us. Wemby's defense is what I want more than even his offense. But as we know, nothing is guaranteed.

I wouldn’t get too hyped about beating the team Washington put out there.

3 big man rotation between Paolo, WCJ and Wemby .

There is ZERO chance we win all of our games and the Bulls lose all of theirs. Funny enough (and sadly), cutting Pat Bev and letting him walk to Chicago kickstarted a lot of these events.

As to what we should have done... not much. One can be frustrated with reality without things being in their control, no?

I, personally wouldn't sit any of the guys but playing Mo over Goga might have been enough to lose the game.

It wont carry over. People wont even remember this game in October. It feels nice now but anyone with half a brain can see this is our last real chance to swoop up draft equity before we move up the standings. Could have set ourselves up for a decade with a Wemby or a Scoot, now we are looking at Gradey Dick.

Disappointed that our front office still cannot see the bigger picture. Gutless organisation who goes wherever the wind blows them.

People like you are the reason I can’t stand the majority of Magic fans

Do you actually think that we have any chance in hell to get the #1 pick again (back to back)?? If so, then you are not very smart.

News Flash - even if we were 0-84 or whatever, the NBA would never allow for Orlando to get back to back #1 picks in a row. It will never happen.

We have our star. His name is Paolo - give the Fn tank talk a rest. We have been tanking for 12 Fn years. How greedy can you possibly be? Jeeeeez - you are a wack job man.

What planet are you living on?

Its HIGHLY unlikely but the Bulls play some tough teams playing for something down the streech. I think theres value in playing do or die games like this. So you wouldn't sit anyone either. Are you hoping our number 1 pick has bad games?

No. They are the smart ones. Anyone who things a meaningless game in April is worth more than the extra lottery chances is very very slow. Once again the Magic do not have the stomach for the tank and its going to hurt us for the next decade.

We have Paolo and Franz, if we are hurt for the next decade because we didn't win this years lottery, then we most definitely picked the wrong person at number 1. it is the lottery. It is out of our hands.

Nope. Just give Mo more backup minutes and give Suggs the backup PG duties. That would likely be sufficient. Our margin for victory is small enough for that to make a difference.
