His name is Mateen Cleaves.

Before throwing the lob, the senior point guard reportedly turned to the Michigan State cheering section and said, “Watch this,” part of a game-long feud with 2000s-era MSU star Mateen Cleaves, who was sitting with Isiah Thomas in the first row of the stands. Nowell acknowledged the war of words after the game … but seemed not to know who Cleaves was. ”I was talking to Isiah Thomas because I think he had a friend over there, and he was rooting for them,” Nowell said after the game. “I’m like, y’all not going to win today, and I just kept looking at him for some added motivation.”

Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.

It's crazy if Uconn wins the whole thing that'll be at least one title in the past 4 decades which is impressive since the one and done era started and they don't get the 5 star recruits like they used to.

I haven't watched the womans this year. Any good games coming up you'd recommend?

The only womans prospect I'm familiar with is Paige Beuchler. I remember she had a heck of a game against another top player last year, I think it may have actually been Clark, and Paige looked like the better player that day.

Ya man, Friday night. Both games should be great. I'm not much for women's basketball in general, but these are the best teams and it's the final four. Iowa is playing the second game if Clark is the biggest draw for you (as is my case).

Iowa vs South Carolina will probably be the best NCAA basketball game all year. A classic example of the best offense in the nation (Iowa) with the best scorer in the nation (Clark) vs the undefeated South Carolina team which is the the largest, most athletic, best defensive team in the nation.

This is going to be a great game. Way more exciting than any NBA games going on right now.

Hard to see anyone beating Uconn especially with who is left in the tournament. Miami probably has the best chance and Miami-Uconn I think will be the national championship game.

DayGo plays tough defense, UConn will be the favorites, but if that ends up the matchup, I might drive to the AZ or NV state line on Sunday night to drop a juicy bet on the Aztecs.

Caitlin Clark is a bucket.
It's time for 5 refs.

Curry might not be the best player since Jordan but he’s easily the most influential. Men’s or women’s. I see Caitlin Clark and I see Curry

Great game. She's been unreal but South Carolina has weathered the storm.

Yeah, SC has way too much size for Iowa.

And crazy depth. Aliyah Boston missed most of the half with foul trouble and they just keep pounding the boards.

Just a great match up.
