What's the hangup on Iowa? it's a solid basketball school for mens and womens college lol

Is Iowa a blue blood in women’s hoops? She is a Zion level talent and thus should he at the duke of women’s college ball. SC, UConn etc...

Oh and no disrespect to Iowa....I just think she could have ensured a championship if she went to a school with more talent ~ but she about to carry Iowa to the chip - damn

I mean you're absolutely right that she could have gone to a premier program. But she is a Iowa girl born and raised and now is the best woman on the court leading her childhood team to the national finals. It's pretty effin' awesome.

She wanted to go to Iowa over much more prestigious programs. Makes it even more awesome for Hawkeye fans.

If she wanted to go to Iowa then it makes sense....I stand corrected. I just don’t see many talents at her level NOT being at the blue blood school for their sport -

There's many examples of this for the men's side too. Steph Curry, Ja Morant, Dame Lillard, etc.

She went to Iowa to be close to her family. Iowa is like 2 hours from home, so her family could be at all her games. Plus with NIL shes going to make bank anywhere.

Those are not examples - Caitlin is a much better college prospect coming out of highschool than all of these guys

Steph didn’t have a offer at duke - Davison was one of his best offers - Steph was a 3 star..

Ja was not blue chip in highschool - dude had no offers and wasn’t high ranked very much in highschool even tho he did AAU with Zion

Dame had NO major school offers NONE....zero - research it... dame was 5’11” coming out - Caitlin is 6 foot lol

All of these guys over or out performed their rankings - Caitlin is more like Zion or RJ than these guys -

I provided those guys in response to someone saying women's scouting sucks.

Now I read the stuff after about Clark choosing to stay in Iowa because it was close to him afterwards.

It’s just interesting - I guess I’m thinking like a dude.

Go to Oregon to get the Nike gear and NIL cash, or Duke or Stanford for the recognition, education and long term business connects, or duke or UNC for a chance to be on tv every game....Iowa seems to be playing college on hard if you as talented as her...either way happy for SC and Iowa.

Did Butler step out of bounds? I’m surprised none of the tv people brought it up cause it looked awfully close with his right foot. I could be wrong though

FAU got robbed. Phantom foul calls against them (like the completely clean Goldin block) while SDSU was allowed to maul everyone to get offensive rebounds. Shame really because FAU was the better team.

Refs called a clean game imo... fair game... fau had a chance to run away with it but never took advantage, and some bonehead mistakes by one of there bigs i think cost them there at the end.. close game and instead of puttin up a shot , the big throws the ball to the other team in a nailbiter. not to mention, missed bunnies by fau guards all game. Cant expect to win national titles missing open layups.

Holy poop!

And please... complaining about the officiating when SDSU was getting mauled and destroyed by the officiating in the first half. GTFO.
