Man what a random find.

After what he did after our loss to OKC, I don't care how he does on the court, I want his ass out of our locker room asap and a lot of people should follow him to be honest, but what he did is unacceptable

What did he do after the OKC game? I missed it.

Celebrated OKC's 1 point win over us, with their players jumping and smilling while hugging them.

Good and bad I guess. Hopefully they land VW, or this nightmare of a season may have been for nothing.

If you're going to tank then you better do it right. They did it right this season.

He was on their team this season right before us. Played well against them. I think they were pumping him up after the game. If it were playoffs (or even a meaningful game for us) I’d be against it but he probably has a ton of connections with OKC staff and players.

Nah they're the opposition now - can't conduct yourself like that after a loss

I agree. He's got to exercise better judgment than that. But I'd hardly call that a "get his ass outta here right now" move. Of all the things you can do that are a bad look, this is about as minor as it gets.

Fair. Todays league seems to go that way though. Lebron laughing and chatting with Bojan during the game. Dillon Brooks harassing the Mavs and then trying to trade jerseys afterwards.
While I do like a competitive a-hole pushing the team I imagine these are friends he has gone out with and bonded quite a bit with. With lineups we have been throwing out including that game they might as well have all lined up for a double team picture lol. Probably shoulda joined his team in the locker room first though. Then went and reminisced.

Yep. Clearly he still has strong relationships with former team members and obviously he hasn't been gone from the team very long. It's not like as a Celtic he went and posed with the Lakers during a post game celebration because his best friend in the league is a guy he played with 5 years ago in Philly who now plays for the Lakers.

I mean... would you be mad about it if it were a preseason game? This game was a preseason game for all intents and purposes. Basically a scrimmage for us.

This is a nothingburger.

Well, I'm a boomer, and while I acknowledge that we're responsible for all that's wrong with the world and are monolithic in our opinions and attitudes, strangely had no problem with Eugene making nice with the guys with whom he was a teammate only a little while ago.

I didn’t like what Eugene did but I view it more as a “veteran players should sit him down and let him know how things work at this level” sort of thing, rather than a “get this dude off my team” sort of thing.

Who cares that guy doesn't have any loyalty to this team. He's doesn't even know if he'll be here next season lol.

Well he did sign a two year contract with the team, so there's a good chance.

I personally dont have a problem with Omoryui taking pictures and hanging with his old teammates. It's not like it was a playoff game or anything. Plus I view the NBA as more friendly between players than adversarial.

THIS - and I'd like to think our vets did exactly that when he eventually walked into our locker room

I hope he gets a contract for next year, and beyond. But not one of those 1-yr min deals. We gave him a chance, he should commit to a few years.
