It's hard to think the Cavs as currently constructed and playing aren't the better team until this upcoming series shows us who it really is though he teams appear much closer together now than they did before the season.

Since his handle & footwork took that leap, RJ has been getting to the rim & line at an elite rate. If his finishing and shooting off the bounce can reach league average with another offseason or two of development, RJ can absolutely still become an allstar.

Obviously not there yet...which is why I fear our FO will look to swap him for a more developed wing scorer...and his poor shooting since hurting his finger is not helping, but it doesn't take much watching him to see why someone would think RJ could be a top 3 or even top 2 option on a good team

He’s been a really good finisher for his whole career, FTr this year is down since last year, he’s never been able to shoot from anywhere on the floor, can’t do anything with his right hand, dreadful defender, below average rebounder for his size…

What about the fact that you lost to the Hornets? What about the fact that Orlando swept Boston? It doesn't mean much. It's a long season and sometimes the circumstances or matchups just go the other way. No one in their right mind would take the Knicks roster over the Cavs roster.

So how exactly did Mitchell join a much better team when the team is only three games ahead with Mitchell and the Knicks waxed them head to head? Which is it? Were the Cavs not actually that much better than the Knicks or is Mitchell not that much of a difference maker?
