Yeah, I forgot that Kennard was overpaid.

Those trade deadline moves though made the clippers age instantly.

And it was the Clippers who overpaid Kennard.

I think they wanted out of his contract.

I really wanted Clips - Suns as a 4-5, but it looks like 6 is a real possibility. I hope the Kings fans show up in LA…

I'm over this team, sick of them playing like trash when a win is needed or Kawhi STILL load managing when the season is on the line.

Clips-Suns might still happen.
Clips remaining games:
Vs Lakers(Lakers on a back2back.)
Vs Portland
@ Phoenix

LeBron will definitely rest @ Clippers. Game @ Phoenix is the only tough game on their schedule. Clippers have tie-breaker over Lakers which means that if Clippers go 2-1 and Lakers go 4-1, Clippers will still end up being the higher seed.

Warriors have 2 really tough games left on their schedule @ Denver and @ Sacramento.
Clippers will also have the tie-breaker over Warriors as they will have the better division record.

You give the Clippers too much credit they routinely lose games that they need to win. I hope you are right but I'm tired of being disappointed by this team.

If LBJ was to rest,it would be more smarter if it would be against the Jazz the night before since the lakers can win against the jazz without LBJ...We will see, maybe he will play both because of the importance in each game.....

For like 2 or 3 months already everyone from 6th-11th routinely loses games they are supposed to win. That's how the spot has been available for months

Lakers can't take a chance of losing At Utah. That is a 100% win if the whole team plays whereas they might still lose at Clippers even if LeBron rests at Utah because everyone else will be tired playing at that altitude.
On top of that going 5-0 would most probably make Lakers the 5th seed which will mean that they will have to play Phoenix in the first round.

Wins in the last two outings over the Lakers and Blazers.

Regular Season-ender is tomorrow.

Team is now 10-10 since getting Russ

Clips are looking good, but Paul George is still out and Eric Gordon seems slowed by a hip injury.

Russ is doing well and his teammates and coaches seem to love him.

Clips beat Phoenix and wrap up the regular season 11-10 with Russ. Russ played well today.

This could be the end of the road, though, as the team now will face a full-strength (or close) version of the Suns in the first round of the playoffs. Clips are the 5 seed and Phoenix 4th.

Bones Hyland and Mason Plumlee got into it on the sidelines. One of the things that was said about Bones in Denver, before he was traded, was that he would kind of follow his own script. Whether that worked for the team or not. That often meant jacking shots, whether Bones was hot or not.

To be fair to Bones, I have no idea what happened and things may have been Plumlee's fault.

An incredible win in Game 1 on the road at Phoenix.

Russ sealed the game with a block on Booker that he then knocked off Booker for Clippers possession with 8 seconds left.

As the Clippers won, Russ got in the camera and pointed to his heart.

What a win. LA has snatched home court in the series.

The Clippers are now 12-10 since acquiring Russ.

This play is exactly what Russ is about and this is why I love him so much.

Nobody plays harder than him. And when he directs his energy, even at this age, he's still a real force.

I wish Russ hustled like this on D for the Lakers, he was such a egotistical disaster. He's been better (not great still) on the Clips. IDK if he got humbled or just couldn't handle the pressure of forum blue and gold. He's a different player in a Clips uni. Still not worthy of a max, an all-star or all the hype he gets. But he isn't a definite negative like he was for the Lake show.

I think it's just a different vibe for him, on the Clips.

Also, he can play hard in the postseason. In the regular season, at his age, he has to conserve energy.
