My pick to win it all, New Orleans. Could we meet them in the first round.
Please no.

It's amazing how close 5-11 is. Dallas not looking good after tonight for even the play in. But any team between 5-10 could completely miss still. The Clips are flirting with disaster now. They got screwed when George got injured. I don't know if they hold any tiebreakers. They have the Lakers next and us in the last game. I am unsure if we have clinched a spot if we would rest players. But the Clips lose almost every tie breaker except the Lakers. I think they are up 3-0 on them. They really need to win 2 of their last 3. If they lost all 3 they conceivably could end up tied with Dallas (not sure who holds the tie breaker there...they are 2-2 h2h).

Re: 2022-23 Season Discussion and Speculation 6 - The Final Stretch
I didn't realize George was out for likely the entire first round. In that case I probably would rather face them than the Warriors. Neither would worry me that much. The Pelicans might be scarier if Zion is back. I wouldn't be terribly worried there either. The Lakers actually might be the worst case scenario, even though no team scares me that much. Maybe Memphis.
It will be hard to know how good Denver, Memphis or Sac are playing the rest of the way because they are all pretty locked into their spots. I guess theoretically Denver could be trying to get 2nd. I saw this suggested on twitter. I don't think it's serious but they could be trying to avoid us in the 2nd round, though that seems awfully risky when they have such a great HCA to risk not having it in the WCF.

Dude. I am **** through the moon. That was an insane finish. I dunno if I've ever experienced anything like that for basketball. I 100% thought Butler was going to miss that shot. I don't even know how to react.

Like... I'm 41 and I've been celebratory drinking like I'm 21.
Tomorrow's going to hurt, but also, SDSU is playing for the national championship on Monday, which is my birthday, against Uconn, and I grew up in CT. Life is crazy. I also hate CT.

The Pelicans with Zion back could be the worst possible matchup. I would prefer any other team by a wide margin.

Normally me too, but Mavs owe Top10 protected pick to Knicks. If they keep the pick they have a chance at Wembanyama and a better chance to improve their roster by trading the pick. OKC may lose next two against us and GSW so I prefer if Dallas makes the play in as 10th. Two games to make the playoffs, then have to beat 1st seed for a potential 2nd rnd chance for our revenge sounds fun to me.

Wildcats should be in the championship game but Princeton was a tough challenge. College basketball is rigged, NBA is rigged everything is rigged for the purpose of rigging. Only sport not rigged is cricket in my opinion.

Yes, I would prefer Warriors without Wiggins, Clippers without PG13 than Pelicans with Zion. They have tough remaining schedule so I hope they don't make it to 5th.

Last news are that Wiggins probably will be back for the playoffs.

There is always a chance the chemistry may suffer integrating a player back, but Suns have played only five games with KD in the lineup, so similar situation. It will be a hard 1st round series.

I for one would love to see Dallas botch up their whole year with the Kyrie trade, miss the playoffs, and spend a whole summer with Lu-Diva and Kai-razy at each other's throats.
Luka demands out and the Mavs get a kings ransom, sending him to OKC where he'll spend his days drinking beer and putting up triple doubles as a yearly 7-8th seed.

OKC has enough assets where they can actually trade for Luka and still have enough left over to build a good team around him.
I'd like him to go east personally. Maybe to Orlando or Atlanta maybe even NYK.
