For me bricking a contested two while there is another player open on the 3pt line is a bad shot, but to each their own.

Do you prefer a contested shot from KD or a open 3p shot from Okogie?

Do you prefer contested 2 from Ross or open 3 from Warren ? There is a reason Okogie had 10 3pt shots vs Mavs. Open shots are generally better. Even someone like Okogie/Ish will usually hit them when open. Not to mention the morale hit teammates take playing with a black hole. KD didn't do too well on his contested shots vs Celtics. Comparing Ross and KD doesn't sound right at all.

The point is that not always an open shot is better than a contested shot, depends on the player. Ross is a tough shot maker.

You have seen his percentages, very good percentages. Where is the problem? So far so good.

The guy has been in the league for more than 10 years scoring a lot as a bench player. He is known as microwave scorer, no surprises here. In that aspect of the game he is like Jordan Clarkson, Gerald Green...

Edit: About affecting another player's morale...everyone know Ross and how he plays basketball and his skills. They are professionals and know that he is out there to shot the ball.

Just looking at his career stats confirms the guy is a complete chucker. Low 40 FG% and low 30 3PFG% seasons. 35% 3PFG% season on 7.3 attempts. There is no problem if he's hitting on good percentages I guess, but we will have to wait and see if he keeps it up in the playoffs. Making it sound like all his shots are good shots is pretty absurd though.

The perfect 7th option an a championship team. Hope we don’t lose him once again.

We just need two of TJ, Ross and/or Payne to play well for us to be hard to beat.

TJ Warren with big buckets down the stretch.

Incredible it took until Game 3 for the Suns to give him minutes. Warren is a much better threat as an outlet for Devin Booker or Kevin Durant when they face pressure, like Booker did on these plays.

Read on Twitter

I would add that he is a very good option to defend Jamal Murray because TJ has the size and smarts to bother him and Murray isn't a really fast player.
