No matter what, McGee and Wood helped turn this game around. Kidd couldn't figure this out early in previous games.

Well he had the season in his hands. Pretty big for a guy who usually gets a DNP - CD from Kidd while having to hold Powells towel for 48min.

Took only some 60ish games to work it out

Hawks hunting Luka entire clutch and OT and havent scored once on him so far. Mavs still down by 2.

I was fully expecting Luka to make that based on this season. That's almost the final nail in the coffin

Re: RS 22/23 - Mavs @ Hawks (Sund, 6PM EST)
What I wondered far more was why did he run the clock down at the end of regulation. I think we had 19s or so left (down 2) to score and he was running the clock down to take a final shot, rather than trying to score asap but giving the Hawks the potential to score again.

At least no one can blame Doncic for the loss. We have seen now even if he plays lockdown defense, Mavs still can't win.
And did Kidd really make one single sub since the 3rd Q all the way through entire OT? Holy ****

I thought that Bob was the bigger Luka fan but you take the cake. Offensively he was bad and yet you think he can’t be blamed? Weird.
I guess I’m the only one who was rooting for a Mavs’ win.

Mavs are tanking now for sure. LOL
On the bright side, Luka showed he can play defense if he wants to.

Obvious tank job from the Mavs. They're going for the high pick now.
Too good a script to be like 1-8 the past 9 games.

What are you talking about? I'm pointing out the plays Hawks tried to make, like GSW last year in playoffs. I'm just saying he was holding his own, basically what everyone criticized him for.
"Star player needs to play defense"... Well, he did?
Also, Kyrie and him played 88 and 86 minutes in 2 games, i think they both did best they could.

I like how Mavs are pretending trying to win.
Good result. 3 more L to go!

Kyrie got the memo to foul Trae and lose the game. Because Mcgee forgot to miss the free throw on purpose. If the Mavs continue the tank, they will be the only team with two All NBA stars with a top 10 pick (with an outside chance to draft 1st overall). You can trade that lotto pick + 2027 FRP + THJ and Josh Green to get a good 3&D wing or just cough up both FRPs and get Myles Turner.

I don't see Mavs getting over OKC anymore. It's possible but unlikely.

He played well first half on offense second half he settle for way to many 3s... he was 5/9 first half I believe and 3/12 in second plus OT. He needs to attack the hoop more and play inside the three point line.

Dallas should just throw the towel in. They’ve won one close game since the All Star game. They’ve probably lost at least seven games by four points or less, probably more. Shot over 50% from the field this game and still lost. Shot over 60% against Miami and still lost.

They don't deserve to get in, they had so many chances but they keep blowing them.

There’s no planet where Turner is worth two first round picks. I would trade one for him, but definitely not both.
