All of the Cavs games are blacked out and I'd rather stick needles in my eyes than intentionally watch a Wizards game so I was kind of having fun watching Zion Williamson single handedly win games for the Pelicans. Looks like he's never going to have much of an NBA career though. He's a lot like Larry Johnson, although he is a ton more talented than Larry was. Or like Icky Woods, who had like one good year and then injuries pushed him out.
I've been taught all my life to value service to the weak and powerless.

Those 2 losses against the Wizards (both without KP) and Hornets came back to bite them. They've also been a bit unlucky (or unclutch) in some of their losses including against the Timberwolves, Hawks, and even the last game against the Wizards.
Also think the Brunson/Knicks being better is a bit surprising- I think people thought Brunson was leaving the Mavericks for a worse situation- it turns out at least for this season that the Knicks have been better (and even without Brunson the Knicks are 6-5).

Knicks have backcourt depth, some guys on the wing who defend and a better front court than the Mavs.
The Mavs also can’t hit FTs.
Ironically they also owe the Knicks a 2023 1st rounder from the Porzkngis trade (top 10 protected). But it may not convey with the Mavs being in the lottery.
