The Celtics need Grant Williams if they want to defend Embiid, that's the only advantage we have on a match up lol

Seriously? How so?

These are pros, two teams that know each other inside out and know they will likely be meeting in the playoffs. This is nothing more than a sparring match.

It would be unprecedented for a team to be 0-4 against a team during the regular season, then proceed to win a playoff series against that same team.

Not only this season but in previous seasons, Boston has clearly had our number (even excluding the bubble sweep without Simmons).

If we can't beat them without Rob Williams and Jaylen Brown, I can't imagine there'd be much confidence heading into a playoff series versus them.

I may be wrong, but didn't we sweep them in the regular season and then get swept in the bubble by them? I at least know we had the edge in the regular season series against them.

We need to fix our shooting. Harden has been missing open 3’s. He has to hit those to help out spacing for Embiid.

I *still* can't wait to trade Tobias. Elton Brand is an ****.

Why would anyone think this team is on the level as the Celtics or Bucks. I'm just being honest. Yes they are dangerous but nah

Celtics/Bucks
Sixers.....Cavs
Knicks...Heat

Third seed. They have a shot but have to play high level defense. Our real shot rests on Harden stepping up his game which he hasn’t in past years. But I do have faith.

our chance is random hot shooting at the right time and of course injury luck.

which is fine and better than the Iggy years for example in which just getting to the second round required that lol

but its not great either lol

the key to being a real ass contender is to have muliple ways to beat teams and ways to take away other teams...we lack those

No one will want to admit it but Ben not playing played a big part of us getting swept. He was our only playmaker and wing defender sadly.
