Not only this season but in previous seasons, Boston has clearly had our number (even excluding the bubble sweep without Simmons).
If we can't beat them without Rob Williams and Jaylen Brown, I can't imagine there'd be much confidence heading into a playoff series versus them.
I may be wrong, but didn't we sweep them in the regular season and then get swept in the bubble by them? I at least know we had the edge in the regular season series against them.
No one will want to admit it but Ben not playing played a big part of us getting swept. He was our only playmaker and wing defender sadly.
He was a pretty good player before Trae ended his career in one play. A jumpshot away from superstardom.
