Yeah, Embiid had to play like an MVP tonight for us to win against a team without 2 of its starters. Doesn't inspire a lot of confidence heading into the playoffs.

All on Doc, why was Melton not in there instead of Tyrese once the Sixers got that lead? Completely idiotic in a game where Tyrese struggled and the Celts have a bunch of big guards.

I mean, that was almost as pathetic as the Laker win where we made similar mental mistakes. Still a win is a win in my book.

Also, that sealed Embiid's case i think, so now we can focus on team stuff

Glad we got the win, can't like how we finished though.

Hate to say it, Maxey is averaging 10 pts a game in 4 games against Boston. There is a reason for this happening which is obvious, but if we meet them in the playoffs, we have to find a way to get Maxey going.

A dumb foul by Maxey?

A seemingly unprepared team on the purposely missed shot by Smart?

And finally, a last second possession by the Celtics to win or tie despite 52 from Joel and a late 7 point lead?

Embiid was justifiably pissed in the post-game interview on the court. It's very hard imagining this team beating Boston or Milwaukee in a series, or even taking it seven games.

The fact that Rivers hasn't explored every possible combination over the course of a season to find some more effective answers from the bench is such an indictment. That he didn't find a way to possibly make Joe and Bassey useful contributors and provide more options for rotations. I'm not sure I've ever seen a less creative and imaginative coach at the pro or college level.

House has been playing well lately and is not getting minutes. I love Niang but he can’t get his shot off against a switching, athletic defense. Give House some of those minutes.

I also love McDaniels playing with Joel, such a big difference when there is a second shotblocker out there with Jojo.

Amazing how finally getting a win still feels like a loss with that fcukery at the end. No chance against these guys in the playoffs.
