Did they pull Shaedon to prevent a chance to win this game? lolol.

Things like this make me thing Billups is likely back, at least to start next season. He's playing the larger game with Cronin rather than maximizing his coaching record, generally a sign of job security.

Well it's shaping up to where the Spurs game could be pivotal, the nice thing is even if we win that one if we lose the rest we likely will tie with a bunch of teams for the 5th worst record even if every other team in the battle loses out.

If we lose out we will secure the 5th worst record 100% though since at that point no other team could get to our record.

I think Dr. Shae is good. I also call him Shady to myself. Everyone focuses on the 'Sharpe' part of his name but Shaedon just so naturally shortens into Shady.

We aren't the only team in this scrum with a super easy game though I think the Pacers have one final game in their last 3 against Detroit the team with the worst record. The Wizards actually face off against the Rockets in one of their final 3 games, another team that has had a horrible season wins wise.

All I’m going to say is…if Mays isn’t on the roster next season I’m going to be pissed. I know he’s not scouted and gameplanned and sample size, yada-yada, but that kid is a baller. He’s a more complete player than Ant, right now.

I’d be fully comfortable with him as the backup PG/SG next season.

For everyone who thinks Joe is incompetent look at his hit rate on these G-league guys... this makes me pine for a full on rebuild. Dump all the legacy crap and build a team without preconceptions an dead weight. I can see the vision but we can't pull it off with the baked in expectations.

Mayes is the right type of combo guard.
I think he can be a really nice bench guy, but we have to clear the deck to make that happen. If Keon had May's game with his athletic ability we'd have legit 6th man/3rd guard.

Didn't they hire some draft guru guy? Is he a full time Blazer employee?

Ken Lofton looked FAT. That guy is an inch shorter, with a 4 inch less wingspan than I do and out weighs me by 55 lbs. Crazy to me that a poor man's Swanigan is getting minutes in the NBA.

I believe he is but you never hear about him much, whatever position he has he does not speak to the press directly. I remember him giving his full 100% support on the Shaedon pick back in the draft on twitter.

Lofton has a really, really soft touch. Much like Z-Bo in that regard. His touch alone gives him some hope to be a NBA player.

Poor Caleb had nothing really that he did well.

Yeah, they hired Mike Schmitz from Draftexpress as an Assistant GM.

It *appears* that Sharpe and a bunch of G leaguers were about to knock off one of the top teams in the league on the road, and the coach pulled Sharpe to keep that from happening. Mind boggling.

If there's any spot where I think the Blazers are super solid and I have no concern about, it's them in the draft. Schmitz is awesome.

Chauncey's only value add as a coach is losing. Cronin and Jody seem to be fine with that.
